Pence is a lot like Cruz in his social stances. I guess that doesn’t count against Pence, though?

Cruz had a lot of good positions.

But he was an absolute jerk.

Pence is not a jerk.

Pence picked a good year to sit on the sidelines and wait things out. He never had to attack Trump. Also Cruz and Trump both have outsized egos (not always a bad thing) meaning they can’t work as well together.

If Pence follows through on those viewpoints )”stances”) without trying to proclaim himself messianic, then it’s a double-plus good thing.

I was behind Cruz for years. Then all this talk about God telling his daddy he was going to be the next POTUS. That is when I began to see the unstableness creep into Cruz. The arrogance. It was fully displayed at the convention and I feel fully justified in my removal of support for Cruz.

Cruz is no Pence!

Not sure what social stances you’re referring to, but even if they should count against Pence, at this point in time it’s probably better to focus on Mrs. Clinton’s anti-American stances then it is to beat up on Pence.

Please do not mention Pence and Cruz in the same conversation. They are ethically polar opposites.

Teddy Cruz was my first choice and I donated. Then there a series of events made me realize he was unsuited for the job. It started with Teddy bears for illegals, which I overlooked. There followed his statement that Dr. Carson had dropped out, a lie. Again I overlooked it.

When he blamed BLM violence in Chicago on Trump, that was the final straw. This was coupled with other things: His ridiculous behavior at a debate. His obsession with Trump, blaming Trump for absurd things that made no sense. His every answer to questions involved an attack on Trump. And his weird comments about rats, etc. He no longer sounded normal.

Did you see his speech at the nomination? He broke his oath and revealed it was all about him, for personal reasons, with no regards to what is best for the country.

Pence is eligible to be President, Cruz is not, doesn’t matter what his social stances are then does it?
