It doesn’t matter that someone running things wrote for the Heritage Foundation; he likely is blackmailed now and since 0bama wants it, that is assurance it has America’s downfall as the goal.
All congressmen who vote for it or allow it to happen should be hanged, not hung, “hanged”.

Win or lose, we should probably start considering how to set up a competing service that remains in the hands of private citizens.

With all due respect, there are no no posts from Freeper brothers above this thread who have posted what you are saying....I read thru the entire thread...
I just called Sen. Dean Hellers Reno office and the clerk who answered the phone didn’t know anything about it. The clerks in Las Vegas and DC have heard about it but have no idea what the Senators position on the matter is. So, I feel I am correct in presuming that there hasn’t been much discussion in his office on the subject.
They won’t get away with total censorship if that’s the end goal.
I’d predict a creation of a US Intranet or Extranet and a type of gateway to the rest of the world. We still own our hardware.
To be specific, AT&T owns our hardware.
