Clinton leads Trump in New Hampshire

A new WBUR poll (topline, crosstabs) shows Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by 7 points among likely voters in New Hampshire, one of the key battleground states that could determine the outcome of the presidential election.

The survey also found that by a wide margin, voters believe Clinton was the clear winner in Monday night's debate against Trump.

The live telephone poll of 502 likely voters was conducted Sept. 27-29. It has a margin of error of 4.4 percentage points.

The new survey is in line with a number of national and battleground state polls that have come out since Monday night's debate. They suggest that after watching her sizable post-convention lead over Trump all but disappear, Clinton has put the brakes on her fall and has gained some ground. According to the WBUR poll, in New Hampshire, she now leads Trump 42 to 35 percent.

Agreed. If he continues as is he will definitely lose. If he focuses on his main points and change he wins easily. I don’t see how reasonable people don’t see this.

I live in Virginia. I believe Trump can pull Va off, if we keep the dead folks from voting. Even in uber liberal Northern Virginia, there is no enthusiasm for Hillary.

Maybe you two need to get a room you know a "safe space". Curious though, who will be the man in your scenario or will it just be gentle cuddling.

Without Hillary’s 20+ point handicap Trump is ahead by at least 13

I might think his sons/daughters handle that part. Their tweets seem to give the impression they are on to all the crap out there and I wouldn’t doubt if some of them were on this distinguished forum.

Really? What bump? LAT/Dornsife polling shows Trump UP SHARPLY since the debate while RCP polling on Battleground States shows him leading and GAINING (NC,CO,OHIO,and one more I cannot remember.

Why do you only believe negative polls when we all know they oversample Democrats and not believe polls where Trump leads?

WBUR is the far-left public radio station in New Hampshire. They’re somewhere to the left of Karl Marx.

Sorry, but I don’t share your optimism at all. The American people have voted liberal in most elections for many years now.

That’s a fact.

democrate 28%
Republican 32
independent 40%
+4R in New Hampshire?

Male 48 Female 52% (a little high but OK)

Education high School: 20%
Some collage 27%
College grad and advanced degree: 52%

Why did they poll so many college graduates?

with 52% collage graduates polls and this poll showing who won the debate. I would suggest this poll was sloppy at best:
Hillary Clinton 59%
Donald Trump 19%
Both / neither / depends (do not read) 19%
Don’t Know / Refused 3%
