Trump MUST start the debate with a sincere apology and a quick pivot.
"Before I answer questions about the truly critical issues facing this nation; a stagnant economy, unsecured borders, a breakdown of law and order, a military in desperate need of rebuilding, and our deteriorating standing in the world I need to apologize. An 11year old recording of a private conversation I had was made public. I said some things that were crude, coarse, and undignified. There is no excuse and no explanation. I want to apologize to everyone and say I'm sorry for what I said. It was especially upsetting to Melania, Ivanka, and Tiffany. I apologize to them with all my heart. My son's told me to "man up" and take responsibility. I do.
My hope since I entered this race was to help address the important issues facing EVERY American and this great nation. That will be my focus tonight."
THAT'S IT!
If a Liberal insists on bringing it up simply say. " I apologized for what I said. What problem facing all Americans can I address for you."
PIVOT TO Hillary and hammer her on her two-faced, say one thing to deceive the public and do the opposite privately. Hammer her on Open Borders. Hammer her on her lies about her emails. Hammer her on her complete failure with Russia.
If another question comes up about women. " I have apologized. Let's talk about some of the big issues that women tell me they are concerned about: A, B, and C."

Another thing that he could say, if continually pressed, is that “Mrs. Clinton manipulated the legal system to get a child rapist off, and later laughed about it. That’s on tale, too. Which is worse, those deeds that she was clearly unremorseful about, or a few crude and inappropriate words that hurt no one, but for which I am profoundly sorry? Now can we get back to some issues that matter to the American public?”
Let Hillary bring it up. Then Trump should admit he acted badly, turn to Hillary and ask her, point blank, “What do you think is worse, what I did or what Bill did with Monica Lewinsky”? When she refuses to answer, he should say, “I would never do what he did.”
There are literally tens of millions of previously unregistered and non participating citizens, who saw only two sides of the same coin, and now are being presented with a silver dollar and a rusty washer, a vicious lying carpetbagging washer.
The media is besides themselves with inability to sully his candidacy.
Their candidate truly sucks, big time, and even they know it to be true, much less the voters out there.

Trump could just refer people to look at his apology there, then change the subject.

Tonight this does not look good, in two weeks it will be better, but, time is short. I know Trump is a good man, flawed but loves America and we need to stick with him in his time of need.
I have been thinking all along that it will be only by God’s grace if Trump wins, and I have been praying for exactly that. God has used many imperfect men through time for His purpose. My suggestion is that we pray and ask for God’s miraculous intervention in this election to save out nation.
