Support for Trump among Black Likely Voters has surged from 9% to 24% in the last ten days.

That’s a rise of 150% over ten days!

If this happens, a lot of swing states are going to go Republican. A lot of electoral votes will go for Trump!

I don't know. Bush got 11% of the black vote in 2004, so I would expect Trump to at least meet that. And as you said, the enthusiasm level for Hillary is low across most of the DEM base.

I know a few blacks here in suburban Chicago that are voting for Trump. And they have never voted GOP before. If Trump can get 20% of the black vote, he wins in a landslide.

I don’t think its that big of a lift, will he get a majority of them? No, but I would not be surprised at all if he outperforms typical republican support.

Trump is not a typical republican politician so its hard for the blanket brand label of racist to be put on him... and he’s making the right pitch... That being... look at your communities.. is this what you want? Look how bad they are, and you have given democrats the control for decades... has it gotten any better? why not give me a chance? What do you have to lose?

I don’t expect him to win the majority of blacks, but I honestly do think he’ll do better than a typical republican.

Everyone keeps saying Trump is hated by latinos.. but every poll shows him doing no worse with them than any other general republican has done.

I do think if Trump wins, and he is honest about what he intends to do, he could get even more black votes 4 years from now.. I don’t think it will be 75%... but it will grow.

Mentioning the black community at his rallies is not enough. Trump NEEDS to go inside the inner cities and talk to the residents. He also needs to go on black radio. Are there some who may never vote for him? Sure, but he can bring up issues like school vouchers that many blacks favor.
