Ryan Supports Trump's Call for Special Session to Repeal Obamacare

Donald Trump and Paul Ryan share common ground on at least one thing — repealing and replacing Obamacare posthaste.

A guest on conservative host Hugh Hewitt's radio program, Ryan on Wednesday fully endorsed Trump's call for a special session of Congress after Trump wins the election next week.

"Imagine if we had a Republican president," Ryan told Hewitt. "This is what Donald Trump is talking about. A special session, we've already proven this year with a Republican House and a Republican Senate we can have that special session, and we can repeal, and we can replace Obamacare.

It's unclear why a special session would be required, since Congress convenes in January, long before the new president's inauguration.

Get some of these people back to working 40 hours a week so they don't have to have two jobs.

EVERYONE has a pre-existing condition.

Medicaid has always been the go to for people who don't have insurance. It's no different now. Just a different curtain.

And don't forget, the govt gets a piece of EVERY policy.

Because there is no time to lose and the congress maybe can get something to DJT's desk the day after he is sworn in.

Ten bucks says their own polls are showing that voters are up in arms over their ObamaCare premiums for 2017.

A special session of a lame duck Congress before the new Congress and inauguration day for the new president? That’s seldom a good thing...

Apparently Paul Ryan has access to Trump's internal polls.

Whatever follows will replace it.

The replacement he has in mind is a private sector situation.

Jim, here is something else, apparently that Trump and Ryan agree on:

U.S. House Speaker Ryan renews call to suspend classified briefings for Clinton

U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan on Friday renewed his call for U.S. intelligence officials to stop giving Hillary Clinton classified briefing typically given to presidential candidates in the wake of FBI Director James Comey’s letter citing additional emails now under review. “This decision, long overdue, is the result of her reckless use of a private email server, and her refusal to be forthcoming with federal investigators.

I renew my call for the Director of National Intelligence to suspend all classified briefings for Secretary Clinton until this matter is fully resolved,” Ryan said in a statement referring to the former secretary of state.

Of course Mr. Trump needs Paul Ryan for the meeting. He needs Paulie to shine his shoes before the real players get down to business.
