The post I responded to, claimed that there hasn’t been a perfect Republican alignment of House, Senate, and White House, since 1928, which is clearly untrue.

That’s not going to hold up with the votes on the west coast still to be counted. Hillary is probably going to win the popular vote by at least 1%, which we will never hear the end of if Trump does win the electoral vote.
