WASHINGTON (AP) - Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani emerged as the favorite to serve as secretary of state in Donald Trump's incoming administration, a senior Trump official said as the president-elect narrowed down his Cabinet picks.
The official said there was no real competition for the job and that it was Giuliani's if he wanted it. The official was not authorized to speak on the record and requested anonymity.
Giuliani, a top Trump adviser, said Monday night at a Washington event sponsored by the Wall Street Journal that he "won't be attorney general" in Trump's administration - a job for which the former federal prosecutor had been seen as a top contender even before Trump's election.

The Obama appointments never mattered; it was like the popular Barack held all offices in his administration. Everyone agreed with everybody else and all were acting as if Obama would have acted in every situation.

I like to hear Bolton talk but he was on the Jeb Bush train before Jebbie imploded.

His hands were tied in Congress . . . any fair person could see that. Under Trump - no limits!!!

Good luck getting through to the checkers playing isolationists. They just don’t want to hear it.

Well, they certainly can try. But there’s that inconvenient little “smoking pile of brass” thing, ain’t there...
They have zero clue what 4th generation warfare would do to them personally.
And make no mistake - it would be VERY personal. “Life’s Mission-type” personal.

I knew him quite well when he was at Yale (age 18 -25, running an effort (Lux et Veritas, Inc.) to cut off alumni contributions to Yale because of then Yale President Kingman Brewster's knee jerk anti-Americanism and support of the despicable movement to get us out of Vietnam to facilitate the communist enslavement of the people of South Vietnam. I got a firm fix on his character then and nothing haschanged my mind in the ensuing 43 years.
I also see that the junior senator from Kentucky (smarter than his old man paleoPaulie but it takes very little) thinks that Bolton is unfit to be Secretary of State. He apparently did six years stateside in the military during the VietNam War when he correctly intuited that the politicians lacked the spine to REALLY back the troops and WIN! Rand Paul is no better than paleoPaulie. That seals it. Rand Paul, like his dad, can go straight to hell and stop claiming to be a Republican when he is just an isolationist Demonrat peace creep in GOP drag just like his old man. John Kerry in elephants' clothes?
Were you expecting Boltion to run right down and re-enlist at 68 (which he will be on 11/20/16)???? I suspect the military would say no. As to Bolton's salary, his Wikipedia profile is as open to you as to me.

I’ve been watching lib shows to see their over the top reactions, I really enjoyed it. But I’ve had enough now, they are psychotic morons, thank God half the country doesn’t give a good God damn what they think.
They will never politely except a GOP win ever again, they will throw a fit and riot every time from now on.
