Yes, northern Maryland is like Hagerstown; southeast would be like St. Mary’s/Calvert; I’m in Charles County.

I have seen The Mayor’s posts are always comforting and inspiring. I am grateful for the blessings he brings.

We’ve been on a wild roller coater ride in TN too. Last weekend was frigid, been warm since Tues., and though it won’t feel like January tomorrow, it’ll be chilly. It’ll cool off again next weekend after a few more days of comfy temps.

Not used to this this time of year. These t=roller coater rides are more typical of November.

I thought we were going to have a snowy winter but other than one 3” fall, nothing.

There’s been a bit of snow in TN but we can’t seem to get any precipitation in our area. Last night, a nice swath of rain built up just - and I mean JUST - north of us and moved northward. Frustrating, to say the least.

True. I have a Texas accent. It’s not too strong, though. One of my FRiends said I sounded like his relatives in Indiana!

I don’t know whether to be insulted or not!

LOL!

No, fortunately there were no fires in our area. But there were some that were close enough, we had smoky air for a few days. How we were lucky enough not to have any is a mystery considering how dry it was last year. I compared last year’s total to 2015’s and we were down 27 inches. We’ve only had .6 an inch so far this month so the new year isn’t getting off to a very good start.
