But it will not happen until these groups understand that we are fighting for the survival of America no less than the Union troops were in the First Civil War.

The Union was not fighting for survival or against slavery up to 1863. The Union was fine albeit smaller. Only the South was fighting for its survival. At no point, at any time did the South want to occupy or conquer the North. That is silly.

There isn’t a reasonable social consensus now because Democrats have conspired to increase this country’s population with non-assimilating, dissatisfied foreigners to the tune of upwards of 100 million people if you count both legal and illegal entrants.

Then, couple this with a comprehensive social media, TV, Film and entertainment industry geared towards dissent and decadence, and you have a recipe for some king of final confrontation at some point which the media misery ghouls are doing their best to foment controversy.

Thank you for such a well-written contemplation of the American Condition. I’m seeing more of such observations and I wish to encourage more folks to post such sensible outlooks of the conditions we are currently facing in these times of discord.

I would normally think there isn’t a person who would want to give up their freedom for the sake of an ideology, but I’m not so sure of that nowadays. It is deeply perplexing to me how the “left” whole-heartedly ignore the tenets of liberalism to the point of almost becoming alt-right.

It would be easy to dismiss that as stupidity, but I fear that it’s due to outright mania - as if there has been an extinction level event that has left pockets of humans pillaging and plundering their way through the day like barbarians.

I prefer to think there are enough of us Americans who hold dear our freedoms and will do what is necessary to preserve them - as evidenced by the Presidential Election of 2016. We must realize that Donald Trump, his Cabinet, the Supreme Court and the Senate can’t fight the good fight alone.

We cannot sit back and allow the Enemies of Freedom (my nickname for the left) to stifle our speech, restrict our safety, or twist the minds of our young to believe in un-American ideals which - at the very heart of them - are designed to destroy our country.

We must not leave it all to chance by remaining idle thinking it’s someone else’s job to keep us free. It would be an insult to those who gave their lives for us. It would be a crime to allow such a world to come to fruition for our children to live in.

Protest if you will, but do it peacefully without surrender. Boycott those people and institutions which support anti-American agencies. Don’t cower in the face of dictatorship - but don’t invite it either. I mean in our everyday interactions, like when someone tries to berate you or tell you the opinion you have is wrong. You don’t have to get your point across by being a bully.

We’re smart, sensible people. Let’s lead the restoration by example.

Never forget that the Democrats that fostered that change were themselves neo pagan, decadent endemic Americans. Values matter. Future elections will have no pretense about “bringing us together”.

Outside of the box solutions:

1. Article V convention to repeal the 17th amendment. Also create the state of New England combining Me,Ct,MA,RI,NH & VT with two senators instead of 12!
2. Let CA secede, that would draw the looney leftist and illegals out of the USA like a vacuum cleaner.

In my opinion the first shot has already been fired in Dallas Texas when our men in blue were murdered while on duty.
