Per draft executive orders, President Trump's administration may be looking to roll out more restrictions on immigrants planning to enter the U.S., as well as those already in the country:
The administration would be seeking to "deny admission to any alien who is likely to become a public charge" and develop standards for determining whether an immigrant can be deported after five years if that person receives a certain amount of public assistance, including Food Stamps, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), and Medicaid.
The second order, titled "Executive Order on Protecting American Jobs and Workers by Strengthening the Integrity of Foreign Worker Visa Programs" calls for "eliminating" the "jobs magnet" that is driving illegal immigration to the United States, according to a copy obtained by The Post. The order would rescind any work visa provisions for foreign nationals found not to be in "the national interest" or in violation of U.S. immigration laws.
The drafts are apparently just being passed around by administration officials at the moment, and the White House refused to confirm the orders' authenticity. The Washington Post also noted it's not entirely clear if Trump will actually go ahead with either of these actions.
Yet, the orders seem to fall in line with Trump's most hard-line pledges on immigration. One draft order argues "the unlawful employment of aliens has had a devastating impact on the wages and jobs of American workers," though economists generally agree that immigration is more beneficial than harmful to the economy. The orders also suggest that "households headed by aliens are much more likely than those headed by citizens to use federal means-tested public benefits," another claim The Washington Post noted is not supported by evidence.
If enacted, The Post reported the orders "would significantly restrict all types of immigration and foreign travel to the United States, expanding bars on entry to the country that Trump ordered last week."
Well, shoot - forgot to include - the $2075.00 comes from the federal government - HA!!! He didn’t want to admit “the taxpayers” pay it in spite of the prodding by Tucker.
Sorry - but I guess everyone here could guess where the money came from anyway!
Private organizations took on the task of helping immigrants, including Tammany Hall it NYC. Their soup kitchens, etc. cemented immigrant votes to the Democrats for fifty years.
Hooray dat.
“We are going to win so much, you will get tired of winning”
Oh no Mr. President, but by all means continue winning.
How about going after illegal parents with anchor babies?
Here’s what He says about welfare:
But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
1 Timothy 5:8
For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
2 Thessalonians 3:10
Great idea.
That’s 2075 for everyone in the family. So if he gets 4 then it is $8500 plus donations in one room. He is invested in refugees.
Sounds like a Soros type “Jew”.
“We are the world” is finally coming to an end...financially??
The rules haven’t change. Like all the others for immigration they’re just not enforced.
“”Thats 2075 for everyone in the family””
Where did you find that? Did you learn whether it’s per month or just at the beginning? I looked and couldn’t find what the $2075 represented. And we’re supposed to believe they find it difficult to get by on that? I guess I need to google again and find more info about him and his outfit. How could the Clintons NOT have thought of this first for their criminal enterprise?
This whole “faith based charities” thing has always bothered me and I’m so glad that Tucker Carlson is getting into the nitty-gritty now...
Everyone has always ignored it except for that one woman - Ann Cochran? Not sure that’s the correct name but she does the best she can in bringing it to everyone’s attention. It was headline news when those “children” were “walking” all the way from Mexico to get into the U. S., and then it died away. Trouble is - like everything else - the choirs are the only people hearing about it. The rest will continue to have their heads buried in the sand - like Kirsten Powers..
Isn’t this the same rag that said DJT was about to issue EOs that persecuted homosexuals?
Trump won’t be doing this.
Amen. I wrote to Trump yesterday and thanked him for standing strong in the face of the immigration protests. So glad that he is considering cutting all govt benefits. I hope he eliminates Section 8, EBT, medical care and they should charge the Mexican govt for educating their citizens. Also we should add a surcharge to all Western Union money transfers out of this country. All of those together should send the majority of them packing.
Do it, Mr. President!!
Or just make non-citizens ineligible. They can’t earn their own keep and no handouts, they’ll go home.
He HAS been in politics.
Just not the elective kind.
Even though they were marrying Americans, I had to sponsor them, pass a financial means test, and guarantee that they would not be a burden on society.
It's one of the more infuriating things; legal immigrants are penalized, and illegal immigrants are rewarded.
It wasn't.
But it is only applied to American citizens bringing in a spouse.
Wow. How appalling. Only immigrants married to Americans have to ‘pass that test’? No wonder we are in the situation we are in, in this country.
