Fox News anchor Chris Wallace cautioned his colleagues and the network's viewers Sunday that President Trump's latest attack on the media had gone too far.
"Look, we're big boys. We criticize presidents. They want to criticize us back, that's fine," Wallace said Sunday morning on "Fox & Friends." "But when he said that the fake news media is not my enemy, it's the enemy of the American people, I believe that crosses an important line."

I disagree, Wallace. But you're welcome to your opinion. Just don't be megalomaniacal about it and think that because your media buddies agree with your opinion that your opinion is shared by the citizenry.
Chris, the line you crossed was mine. Trump is right. This seems to be the age of “entitlements”, as everyone thinks they are entitled. In the real world people work for what they have. Honesty, honor and respect are earned.
The news media have not been honest, that cost you the honor and respect you seek after.

The press has has a 1st Amendment right to criticize President Trump. President Trump has a 1st Amendment right to criticize their criticism.
The press certainly does not have a moral right to deceive with their coverage. A deceiver is the enemy of the one he is trying to deceive. The press is trying to deceive the American people.

Long before Trump even announced his run the American people were disgusted with the press. Perhaps they were and are tired of a group of (not so bright if I may say) elitist snobs who act like they are a co-equal fourth branch of the government? Trump gave voice to the disgust that was ALREADY there. Deal with it Mr. Wallace and examine the real problems rather than circling the wagons in the name of protecting power that NO voter gave you.
Being liberal means you have no core values. You have goals and agendas, but you are not anchored to any real beliefs.
This lack of core values allow feminist to praise Clinton as he molest young interns, or anti-war activist praise Obama as he sends drones out to kill or blacks to attack another black if they step off the reservation.

Hey Chris, maybe if the media reported the news instead of trying to create it the reporters wouldn’t be getting the tongue lashing they deserve. The whole industry thinks they are the chosen ones.
The MSM has managed to push their way into a position of influence and this is being shut down as it should be.
But the media, when it continues to press the “story” of the completely unevidenced “connection” between Putin, Russia, and Russian agents, and Trump, the Trump Administration, and Mike Flynn.
But, still the questions persist because it’s the current front in the war on Trump: delegitimize Trump through smears. The Dhimmicrats must attack, as they can not defend their record of destruction: Detroit, Baltimore, Ferguson, Public Schools, Obamacare, etc.

The very fake news media, formerly known as mainstream, could win this war with the American people by accurately reporting the news but they do not consider that winning.
There is no right to seek to undermine the heritage of the people you claim to serve, without expecting to be called out for your betrayal.
I'm tired of all these lines. If there is any line to cross, the media crosses it with impunity. Yet they get all butt-hurt when someone else crosses THEIR line. To hell with them and their lines.
