“This is a declaration of war, a war on the environment,” John O’Grady, an EPA union leader and agency employee, told E&E news. “It’s a declaration of war against children with asthma, against women of child-bearing age, against the elderly.”
Trump is expected to ask Congress to cut EPA’s budget 24 percent and reduce the agency’s staff by 3,000 employees.
O’Grady works out of EPA’s Chicago office where about 30 agency employees took to the streets to protest the nomination of Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt to head the agency. The Senate confirmed Pruitt in February.

Yeah, I remember taking to the Streets when a new Boss that I didn’t like was put in charge of the Department I was working in at a Fortune 500 Company. LOL
Fire them all and let unemployment sort them out.
They want clean water ? They’re the same buffoons who deliberately turned that river out west orange !
Trump should close as many Chicago offices as possible. Chicago has been padded by Obama. And they are not planning to fix their city or help Trump in any way. Trump should support Federal offices in Wisconsin and Michigan. And he should close them in Illinois.
Here’s the problem, in the very title— two words-—
EPA and Union.
No government worker should be unionized, and no govt. agency manager should be a member of a union either. They should not be able to lobby the very body that provides the agency they work for, the taxpayers money for their budget. Period. It is ludicrous that this exists in ANY and EVERY federal govt. agency— IRS agents unionized, FBI unionized, FAA unionized, TSA unionized.... and the list goes on ad infinitum.
The EPA needs a Union?
There shouldn’t even be such a thing as an “EPA union”! (Or any other government union). The government makes the rules for employee protection, it is a conflict of interest among other things.
The worthless fed govt employee unions were started with an executive order. An executive order can end them...and should.
These fools don’t realize most of the public view them as worse than useless, bureaucratic appendages. They won’t get any sympathy.
They should have all been fired immediately for Insubordination.
Were they protesting while on the Clock? If so, they should have been fired for defrauding the Taxpayers as well.
No Separation Package, no Unemployment, nothing but a shoe box for their Participation Trophies.

FUNNY thing is the EPA union works TOTALLY AGAINST labor unions, EPA union is destroying coal minors, construction workers, pipeline workers, THE WALL builders SO WHO does the union choose, decisions, decions!!! The in fighting must be a sight to behold!!! I THOUGHT that the unionization of the public sector was an EO done by Kennedy UNDO IT !
