Infowars apologizes for 'Pizzagate' coverage

Infowars apologized on Friday for its role in perpetuating the "Pizzagate" conspiracy theory that connected a Washington, D.C., pizza restaurant to a child sex ring run by Hillary Clinton.

Talk show host Alex Jones, an avid Trump supporter who runs the site, went on air to read a statement where he personally apologized to James Alefantis, the owner of Comet Ping Pong, which was repeatedly harassed and threatened for its alleged connection to Pizzagate. It was at that restaurant in December that a man from North Carolina walked in and fired a rifle as he looked for evidence supporting the conspiracy theory that there were underground tunnels through which children were trafficked.

Oh, back when child sexual abuse was a big issue in the 80s, at least 98% of the claims of child sexual abuse in divorce cases would turn out to be BS.

Wife would come in screaming that she wanted a divorce because the hubby was diddling with a child, she really wasn’t after the money.....

When told that judges are hearing that 5 times a day and have become very anti-wife/mother if it couldn’t be proved. such as photos, testimony before the judge without either mother or father in room, they would all say, “Well, let’s try another tact..... “How much can I get it we claim he has a girlfriend!”

We had one case where child said the same two hundred words, word for word, 3 times. When, with mommy gone, the judge, a great old lady herself inquired about that. The child replied; ‘Because that’s how mommy told me to say it.... and since it really didn’t happen with Daddy, I have to say it exactly, or I’ll forget!”

Obama spent $60,000 of taxpayer money flying in “pizza and hot dogs.” obviously code...

Or perhaps both Chicago specialties (deep dish and all kinds of pickled abominations) appropriate for a Chicago-themed party.

Has your life been so sparse that you have not ever been entertained by 4 kids splashing around in a pool?

I make nothing out of, because there never was anything to it, except in the minds of sickos who get their jollies discussing it.

That’s a perjorative question

I watched what happened. We know who did it. There is no “narrative”.

Nothing personal.

If there's a new car in there, can I trade it for some truth?

I mean, like, I'm ready to make a deal...

Doors #1 and #2 have one of those living room sofa sets, right? Hold on a sec..it's new kitchen appliances (microwave, range/stovetop combo - the better to cook you with, my dear).

Just like on the show -- the items featured are all real enough. Getting any of it home is entirely another matter. Gotta' pay the taxes (& license/registration) upfront.

The day you start a blog with the tag line “Baby Evie, raw and uncut,” call me about having a sparse life and being entertained by little girls you don’t know in a pool.

Good analysis. And yes, youtube blocked the rally today, too.

There was nothing to it...

"James Alefantis, John Podesta, Tony Podesta were suspected of pedophilia because they make jokes about pedophilia on social media [27], promote musicians who celebrate pedophilia [28], support artists who depict pedophilia [29], and are friends with convicted pedophiles."

Did you ever watch any of the videos of Comet Ping Pong's house band? They are full of actual photographs of children being hurt, including a boy tied to a table nude with blood on his buttocks.

Comet Ping Pong advertised this band and invited ALL AGES.

I don’t dispute that their idea of art was highly suggestive and even offensive. The examples you offer were disturbing.

However, it is a leap to suggest pedophilia by so many people. Using this logic, adults who read anime comics and hentai comics might all be pedophiles. I am a parent with young children and trying to figure out what that stuff is about was an eye-opener.

However, we do not have the right to convict someone based on associations and art. Many on this site and certainly on the ones mentioned had pretty much convicted the man outside of an actual court of such offenses. In the end, it resulted in a deranged individual acting upon his belief with violence. This is a slippery slope absent of logic, reason, and true justice. I might not like anything the man promotes or believes. I might agree that much of what was linked to pizzagate struck me as bizarre and distasteful. However, I don’t know the real truth nor do you. If there is evidence of crimes against children by these persons it should be investigated and tried in a court of law. That is how justice works - it is not found on an anonymous web forum.

That persons would openly promote such vulgarity is disturbing and it says much about them and those who associate with them. I found that point to be powerful enough on its own - the same as I did when the NEA supported the artists who placed the crucifix in a jar of urine. However, this thing grew so far beyond that kind of disgust into some pretty wild narratives.

We all need to be careful about getting too carried away with suggested, but unsupported, narratives. That is what the left has done to Trump over the manufactured “Russia hacked it” narrative.

Some, not all. My definition of “reputable” would include many of the Fox News “hard news” reporters such as Lou Dobbs, , some independents like Sheryll Atkinson, and some of the well-known talk media figgers like O’Reilly, Limbaugh, Hannity, or Laura Ingraham.

These people have something to lose if they spread rumors and innuendo based on no more than we saw about Pizzagate. Their reputations, mainly, but they also run the risk of libel and destroying their own (very profitable) careers.

So when one of them talks about Pizzagate, I’ll listen a lot more carefully than when some blogger hiding behind an ISP does.

And we all know that if there is fire behind the smoke, it’s going to take law enforcement type investigations to track down the leads and follow the money. Guys like Epstein are not sloppy, and you can figure that people who are alleged to have associated with them who have much to lose (i.e. Bill Clinton) have been even more circumspect.

Mr Jones, please stopping reporting that 9/11 was caused by mini nukes or some other such nonsense.

It's not just nonsense, it's disgusting Trutherism. Because of this, posts from Alex Jones and Infowars were properly banned from FR.

However, after Jones came out for Trump, he suddenly became a good guy.

So much for standards and principles.

That guy was an actor.

Plus, no one who believes that children are being held in an office fires a gun in said office.

I’m not saying kids were held there or that anything happened there except what I have evidence of and that the fact that Alefantis had sexualized pictures of kids and beastiality on his Instagram feed and his house band sings songs about pedophilia and had pedophilic images in their videos hosted on youtube.

That’s what I know for sure.

The leftist media didn't "get carried away" with an unsupported narrative.

That narrative was being churned out and directed. It was purposed and planned.

I still think there is something to it. Especially involving Podestas. Maybe time will tell. Maybe not. I mean Jimmy Hoffa has never been found.

Read Podesta’s e-mails, obviously he was using code for something. There are dozens of e-mails that make absolutely no sense at all, where the same words Handkerchief-Cheese-Ice Cream-Hot dogs are used over and over. Combine that with his love for “Spirit Cooking’ and his brothers art collection of Pedophile images, and yeah, I can see people wondering,. And that doesn’t include Jame Alifantis perverted images ( the ones he removed) and changing his ( boy love )signage, or the bands that played ‘Comet Pizza’, and sang of sex with children. Yeah, nothing to see at all...

Pizzagate is real, though much of the speculation about details was just that, speculation.
