Stephen Lemons, of the Phoenix News Times, reported that about 40 or so assorted anarchists and members of various left wing groups gathered across the street from the state Capitol on Saturday in opposition to a pro-Trump rally openly armed to the proverbial teeth.

While it is not unusual that wanna-be para-military lefties should arrive at a pro-Trump rally with menacing faces, clenched fists, and nasty rhetoric, this is the first documented case that I’m aware of in the recent spate of protest, counter-protest movements that have swept this country, since the inauguration, that included a leftist group brandishing firearms.
There are those who might be tempted to make light of this, as it seems that in this case these gun-toting were simply taking themselves way to seriously.

These snowflake Bolshies may want to read up on the O.K. Corral before they get too froggy. “Brandishing” firearms is not the same as being able to shoot them especially if you’ve never shot at anyone before.

I guess you forget about the snowflakes that Stalin, Mao, Castro, and Pol Pot used for their purposes. Leftist are very dangerous because they easily hate so strongly and without knowledge.

He was one of several people trying to push back a group of "Nazi Skinheads" who were attacking another person in the crowd. The attacking group turned on him and he ran. One of the "Skinheads" chased him and almost knocked him down. He pulled out a firearm and shot his attacker.
The entire sequence was pretty clearly shown in of one of the videos. There are several other videos that show parts of it. It was a text book justification for a self-defense claim.
In the aftermath it appears that both parties were sympathetic allies who misidentified each other in the confusion of the riot. A "Friendly Fire" incident if you will.
We should learn from these things and avoid making similar mistakes.
An excellent plan. We might want to work out a few more details though. Quietly.
And a number of backup plans would be good too.
