Lol - those healthful things sometimes aren’t very appealing, for sure. Sometimes I gag at some of the things my daughter uses....chia seeds and all sorts of weird stuff.

I am passing this on for your information, who knows it might help someone else. I have multi-level stenosis, bad pain in the sacrum, fire in my legs etc. Pain drugs have a bad effect on me so I just took Aleve a couple of times a week, needless to say I am semi-invalid, cannot stand for too long and lean on a cart shopping. Surgery was declined by my neurosurgeon as he could not guarantee success.
A friend recommended powdered collagen and Maka root (to balance hormones...I went to my annual check up with much of my pains gone (Thank you God!), lowered my cholesterol by 10 points and feeling much more normal. The joints, the muscles, the skin, hair, nails, nerves, all need collagen to stay healthy. I buy the BioOptimal powdered collagen at Amazon. I would not live without it now. Vicodin (hydrocodine) makes me VERY jittery and somewhat nauseated so I can’t take it either!!! If I ever need anything for pain my go to from Dr. is Tramadol much, much milder, hydrocodine is 350 ml. just way to strong for me don’t know how people can take so many and become addicted everyone’s system is different I guess!!! So sorry to hear about your knee, I hurt a shoulder not that long ago and could NOT sleep either I bought a machine from amazon that sent electric pulses through patches attached to the area it really helped, but it was a muscle thing not a bone thing!!!

My brother had severe knee problems like yours and he had one knee replacement about a year ago. Said it made a 100% difference. His wife had both of hers replaced. It sounds like you may need to be thinking of this.
Was going to tell you how I’ve solved the problem.
Bought and antenna from radio shack. Now always have 2-4 bars on phone
ATT is sending a device this week which will pick up wifi Once again we will be able to use laptop TV etc using their signal.
Finally brought up to 21st century.
I’m in the middle of forest and hills so we couldn’t even get an Internet signal from satalitte. (It was too low in the sky — behind a hill )
Thinks have changed greatly in last five years. There is a booster for phone that LEO use. A friend bought a used one on line. Police keep in car. But it works for their very rural house too
