WASHINGTON – Young immigrants brought to the U.S. as children and now here illegally can “rest easy,” President Donald Trump said Friday, telling the “dreamers” they will not be targets for deportation under1 his immigration policies.
Trump, in a wide-ranging interview with the Associated Press, said his administration is “not after the dreamers, we are after the criminals.”

Candidate Trump correctly said it was illegal for Obama to do this. It has no basis in law.
It is still illegal, even if Trump keeps doing it.
No one but the parents are responsible for them being illegal aliens.

Did anyone actually ever listen to what Trump said during the campaign.
Yes there were modifications and clarifications to what Trump said at the beginning and at the end of the campaign. But he clearly said at the end he was focusing on criminals and securing the boarder and then when we have done this we will come together and address the other issues.
You can agree or disagree but hearing what you want to hear and the truth seems two different things for many people.
Yeah, but when he was fighting the other Republicans he said it is tough, but they have to go. The law is the law. He also said that he would end DACA on day one of his administration.
This turns my stomach. It is fraud to turn now to the liberal agenda of Jared and Ivanka and all the fellow Democrats they have brought into the administration.
