FBI Director James Comey testified Wednesday before the Senate Judiciary Committee that the airport tarmac meeting between then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton last June showed the Justice Department could not credibly investigate Hillary Clinton's email practices.
Clinton and Lynch met privately in Phoenix after both of them realized they were on the same airport tarmac, immediately raising questions about the independence of the Justice Department that was in the process of investigating then-presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server.
"Our conversation was a great deal about grandchildren, it was primarily social about our travels and he mentioned golf he played in Phoenix," Lynch said last June, defending her meeting with Clinton.
Comey was concerned with the meeting regardless of Lynch's defense, and said that he lived his whole life caring about the credibility and integrity of the criminal justice process.

There can be no prosecution of a President.
“If a President does it, it’s legal” - Nixon
That’s a legal and political reality.
The worst possible fate they can face is removal from office. Besides, EVERYBODY knew Clinton was going to win.
And that’s why there was no prosecution.
Now it’s up to Sessions to also decline.
The candidate who won the 2016 presidential election was not going to be inaugurated until January 20, 2017.
and he mentioned golf he played in Phoenix,
Where exactly did he Play Golf?? I think it was 110 that day, and in Phoenix the heat is on before the sun comes up, so was this Night Golf??.
So the Tarmac meeting eventually led to public statements that Comey made which Hillary believes caused her to lose, and yet the Tarmac meeting was arranged by and with Bill Clinton.
So, on the off chance (I doubt it) than the chance of voters turning against her in large enough numbers to cost her the election, increased suddenly due to late in the campaign public comments from Comey, then Hillary should be blaming Bill, for the tarmac meeting he had with Lynch. Ahhh, but can we really believe Hillary did not want Bill to have that meeting? No.
So it still comes down to Hillary having only herself to blame.
If that was the arranged meeting place, close to 100%. If the arranged meeting was to be elsewhere, close to -0-
Some interesting quotes from Comey that I missed today played on Fox tonight - he said the FBI had an email from somebody to somebody that they got somehow - who and how he couldn’t talk about in an open meeting - which showed that some sort of arrangement had been made with the DOJ for the FBI to go easy on Hillary - it certainly sounds as though there is still an ongoing FBI investigation into a possible coverup of the email situation by the DOJ - maybe that’s why Trump kept Comey on the job......
Constitutional crisis.
Of course the Obama DOJ would never prosecute Clinton, much less so if she had won.
Not in a million years.
I know, I know—this is completely off subject, but...
Every time I see an article posted from this news site, I read, “FREE BACON!” ...and it makes me happy
Don’t be so cynical. We know that the Clintons have always been about the children. Just good, decent selfless people. Got that?
If Hillary Clinton had won, she very likely would have faced a White House career not unlike what we saw with Spiro Agnew under Richard Nixon. He ended up getting run out of town over criminal issues that dated back prior to his term as VP.
Come is a lying sack of crap.
N number on the tail of plane #3 might add to the detail of the incident.
Creep E Kaine as POTUS? May God have mercy on all us.
That was why the FBI nixed cameras and phones... jet #3’s tail number!
Decent reporter would have gotten the number& did research
