New Poll Finds Bill Clinton’s Place In Presidential History Eroding

"... had strong favorability nationally ..."

In the wake of a presidential campaign that reminded Americans of the string of allegations of sexual misconduct lodged against him, former President Bill Clinton’s status as a former president has eroded, according to a new survey.

A University of Virginia Center for Politics-Reuters/Ipsos poll shows that when assessing which former president Americans would like to see back in the White House, Bill Clinton received only 6 percent support.

By comparison, 21 percent of those participating in a similar poll in 2012 said they would like to Bill Clinton return to the White House.

Clinton, who polled strongly five years ago when asked to rate the top presidents after 1950, fell sharply in the 2017 poll.

..

“In 2012, Hillary Clinton had strong favorability nationally while she was secretary of state. Once she re-entered the political fray and was the target of negative attacks for two years, her numbers eroded significantly, and that erosion appears to apply to her husband as well,” he said.

History will eventually not treat the Clintons very well.

History is written by the victors. When it comes to the culture wars in the US, the Left has been winning for decades against the rest of the country, most of which does not even fight back. We've surrendered the public school system to the Left, so that our children are indoctrinated in left-wing beliefs from kindergarten through college, and as adults they are bombarded relentlessly by left-wing propaganda masquerading as Hollywood entertainment and mainstream news.

Given all that, it's kind of amazing that the US has held out against socialism as strongly as it has so far, but the trend is unmistakable - the Left has been winning for decades now. We live in a society now that would have been unthinkable even 25 years ago. The odds are that both the Clinton and Obama presidencies will be treated quite well by history, because history will be taught by left-wing teachers.

Clintons will be looked at very poorly in the history books. most of there support is built on fear in the democrat party. after bill and Hillary die there own party will slowly start be honest with themselves about the damage the two of them did to there party and there country. there support has always been about the use of bribes the threat black mail and when those two did not work Murder to get what they wanted. history loves to talk about vilians.

By the same token, Clinton is generally perceived as having a stellar economic record during his own presidency, in spite of the fact that the economy was already starting to decline during the last year of his term after the stock market crashed in March 2000.

According to a report by MSNBC: “The longest economic expansion in U.S. history faltered so much in the summer of 2000 that business output actually contracted for one quarter, the government said Wednesday in releasing a comprehensive revision of the gross domestic product. Based on new data, the Commerce Department said that the GDP — the country’s total output of goods and services — shrank by 0.5 percent at an annual rate in the July-September quarter of 2000.”

The boom that had started before Clinton took office was fueled, in part, by the reduction in cost for maintaining the Cold War. It was a dividend due to Ronald Reagan's defeat of the Soviet Union.

At the end of Clinton's term, the contraction was clearly occurring before Bush took office. My sister worked in a temp firm in Los Angeles. She could tell the temperature of the economy by how businesses interfaced with temp firms. They were clearly leaning heavily on the temp industry in order to hold down new hires and cover for employees who had been laid off or retired. Bush inherited a sick economy.

There was proof. Does the MSM ever get clue that we’re done with them and their propaganda? They’re really going to have to at one point

Amazing we even survived through to 2000. They are working soooo hard to make this history go away. Not going away. We remember.

... the last chapter of Bubba's legacy will be written when the truth about Epstein's Fantasy Island, Comet Ping Pong Pizza and other DC crimes are revealed ... at which time Billy Boy will be known, along with many other politicians and newsers, as the pathetic and sexually perverted loser that he really is.
