The interesting part is the 3rd paragraph where you see they snuck in eating, drinking, smoking, grooming and reading as offenses that you can also be ticketed for. Subsequently found out that many municipalities here such as Seattle, Tacoma, and Redmond also have these laws going into effect next week, but as primary offenses.
What about nose-picking while driving? I wish they'd outlaw that.

A gal applying her makeup blew around us one morning. The very next curve in the road, she flipped her car. She was ok but crying saying she didn’t know how it happened. Well, duuuh, when you don’t have two hands on the steering wheel or two eyes on the road and driving 90 to nothing... Doubt she learned a lesson.

The police will have to arrest at least half the population.
I do not know this as fact but I would be willing to make a small wager that there is already a law that covers all of these actions while driving.
That law would state in some fashion similar to this:
Must pay full time and attention to driving.
But burning down businesses, throwing rocks at Police and issuing death threats is perfectly fine.
Warning to America....its coming your way.

I saw a cop once turn on his bubblegum machine so he didn’t have to wait at a traffic light.
Once he got thru, lights went off and he drove off at posted speed.
