Will Trump speak to America explaining the current situation that most probably will result in war with North Korea and possible China...and the Sacrifice and suffering we now must steel ourselves for?
Most of the (fun) stuff from here on out with DPRK will not be played out in public. In fact, the American People might not get the details of it for many years to come
First, the Soviet Union placed the missiles in Cuba. Second, it was in response to our placing missiles in Turkey.
So this is not the same thing. While the Chinese have not put their dog on a leash, the Norks have developed their capability on their own. The UN sits passively and watches, making press statements in rebuke (the dreaded strongly worded letter). It is time to clean up the armistice mess that has been in place for the last 60 years.
I hope not. Not unless someone writes it for him and he doesn't deviate from the speech at all.
Now JFK did it for other reasons. To get Russia to pull the plug on the missiles. The blockades were in place and now was the time to steel the backbone of the American people but also to un-nerve the communists. It worked the communists backed down.
I do not know if there is enough words to put steel in 51% of American's backbones anymore and President Trump may be wasting his breath.
I just can’t even begin to imagine what a Trump speech about sacrifice and suffering would even sound like.....
There’s going to be suffering, folks. Trust me. But it will be the best suffering you’ve ever seen.
And it won’t be as bad as what Hillary suffered on election night. No one thought I could win Pennsylvania, but I did. The fake media didn’t see it coming.

It’s always been an unreasonable policy that nuclear weapons would be confined to two or four or six or eight or ten or fifteen countries.
It’s the ultimate “get out of jail free” card for any government.
At the same time, I hold out hope that not even NK would launch a nuclear attack. Because it would cease to be a country 35 minutes later.
The calculus to me is that “millions may or may not die in the future versus millions will definitely die in the present” when it comes to a pre-emptive strike.
Your right. Things are a little different but then if we make China responsible for Nork actions, AND we do it openly....that does put a lot of pressure on the Communist Chinese. This is serious and we are not playing around... and the world and especially our enemies like the Red Chinese need to know it.

The question might be ...whose millions will die.
I don’t believe for a second that the Norks are developing this missile threat on their own. I would say the Red Chinese can send them complete ICBMs by plane anytime with techs and support equipment correctly designed to look like it is Nork made.
And lets not forget that before the Russians put those missiles in Cuba there was the Bay of Pigs in April.
The Sam sites that were to protect the SSMs were discovered in August. That I believe is what led to the missiles going to Cuba.
The Norks are getting help, but they are not getting complete ready to launch systems from China, so it’s not as blatant a case as Cuba.
Bottom line is we have to deal with each threat appropriately for the circumstances at the time. China isn’t going to go nuclear over us taking out NK. They will draw their own redline over what happens after the regime is gone.
Trump should reveal what we have in extra-terrestrials.
Spill the beans entirely . That would shake up the MSN like nothing else . Cause the entire world to think beyond our own petty little issues .
