As I admitted elsewhere, I went off half cocked and I have apologized for it. The comment applies to the weather reporting industry and has nothing to do with this thread.

Mea culpa.

Bob Mueller will get to the bottom of the Mossad and the Russians controlling this hurricane and steering it towards Texas, where Trump won.

Because, like, you know, Macedonian Hackers and Bigfoot, and stuff.

LOL...that’s what my HEB looked like, this morning.

The good news? I heard the manager saying TRUCKS of water were on the way/not far.

That was this morning, I can only imagine how it’s looking over there, now that folks are off of work :-O

If this hits near Galveston or moves that direction with storm surge and 30+ " rains, bye bye Galveston.

Victoria, TX, though inland, may get hammered pretty good.

Refugio, TX is between Corpus Christi and Victoria and inland, and may get bashed pretty good.

A 6 foot to 12 foot storm surge is catastropic for the Texas coastal areas (very low lying areas)

Uh oh! There is another tropical system forming West of Miami with a 40% chance of formation.

Nasty possibilities

Need prayers for US Gulf Coast.

Maybe this will send the Katrina refuse back to New Orleans.

Galveston is well to the east of where it will hit. It’s still uncertain of course, but Galveston is a bit too far. There are a lot of sparsely inhabited barrier islands that can be hit. I think the real danger will be the inland floods. There may be many days of 10 inch rain in some locations. That’s too much. Or 20 inches in one day, but that’s probably less likely.

I absolutely loved the reporter in the canoe, an info babe, babbling about the danger of floods and there go two men walking in the background with water barely covering their toes. ROFL

Prayers for the safety of everyone in dangerous areas.

On a different note:

Have they started blaming Trump yet?

Bet this is the next big "news" story:

"Trump's fault! Trump______________(fill in the blank) Trump's fault! Trump is using the weather machine to attack Texas and Louisiana"
"Women and children hardest hit! Trump's response to hurricane damaged states is slow and inadequate! "
(MSM reporting 30 seconds after hurricane passes through.)

Alright! Who got ahold of Dick Cheney’s hurricane steering machine???

I think Bannon borrowed it through October.

Not really. That helps, but not directly.

We’re further west.

If this storm does lay waste, I think the affected areas will be very glad a builder is president....
