I'm not sure what to make of this.
Have not yet read the article. Newsmax used to be a reputable source, but I'm not positive of that now.
But they're highlighting this on the top of their website.
And I believe scheduling a missile launch in about 24 hours.

Make up your minds, whether this is big, or not.
Just to be clear.
North Korea seems to be scheduling a possible missile launch for Saturday.
(which is around 24 hours from now)
Do you have a fallout shelter?
One of their “noted cerebrashuns”?
It seems to me that it would even be a good idea to shoot one down while still in NK airspace *if* the trajectory would have taken it into,or near, the airspace of an ally.
Wow. I’m impressed. Hope it’s true.
Now ...
The interceptors had bloody well BETTER work!
Best way to shoot them down is before they launch, that way they fall down before they take off.
Right— just announce to the World. That did not happen!! I am very skeptical of that capability. Why did we not do that ove japan? There are three points on enemy missile vulnerability. Launch pad , Apex and decent. we have zero apex ability and decent has both worked and failed because prior administrations have FAILED to promote STAR WARD from Reagan but rather promoted women and homosexuals in combat. I believe we have a major problem in interception of ICBMs. I hope I am wrong. We should not be letting them launch bottle rockets much less EMP Hydrogen bomb war heads. But we have great rhetoric.
Shot the missile down IF they can do so. Would be embarrassing if they miss. Also backtrack and destroy the launch site.
Seems like a big deal to me if true.
Yes. Destroy them on the pad or launcher.
Ping!
Shoot out?
As the storm hits Florida no less.
Never seen the US shoot down any rocket. Israel and Russia put tons of money into this technology. We have thad, that has been tested where? Just asking...
Shoot down North Korean missiles if Guam, Hawaii, or the United States are determined to be targeted.
Well thankfully News Max isn't scheduling a missile launch. ;)
I wonder if this is a new development or just the first time it has been explictly stated? I think we should shoot down every missile NK launches.
Why would announce it first?
I would expect that from Obama,
I hope for a different strategy from Trump, if this is even true. It may be complete Make Believe just to get clicks.
It is noteworthy.
We could always have shot down any of their missiles using multiple methods. It is now official that we will.
Also, it was not a true thermonuclear weapon. It was a two-stage fission nuke, which is unfortunately a good step towards making a real H-bomb.
