I still can hardly believe the president did this. He had a nice lifestyle and put himself into a firestorm, because he loves his country.
That was one of the biggest mistakes the U.S. government has ever made. We should be on top of EVERYTHING... We have the brains, the money (except for that pesky debt and deficit! LOL)...and the manpower to get things like that done.

Your comment reminded me of when I was living in Denver, and it was New Year's Eve, right before Y2K. I went to the grocery store and bought everything I could possibly stock up on, including plenty of bottled water (because the toilet and sanitation systems were, of course, going to fail ;) ). I left with a hugely loaded cart and ran into a friend as I walked out. He laughed and said, "Are you doing a little Y2K shopping?" LOL! It was okay...we had food in the freezer for quite some time after that. :)

I worked for the guy who was responsible for the 1 smart bomb going down that chimney in baghdad. Which prompted all the video war BS in the media. The rest didn't work so well - they've improved immensely. But it makes me wonder what is fact and what is propaganda
ok. Idont doubt you was what you saw but there is this propensity to boast of superior weapons systems and we cant even stop an ICMB going over Japan. That was the indicator right there.We didnt have a clue if that was going down there or EMP or what ever.
