I thought they were going to stop this nonsense.

The Communist Football League.

I’d like to hear what some of the old timers have to say about all this. The fact none of them have been interviewed (to my knowledge) answers the question right there.

I’m surprised he even went.

We wouldn't even know that players took a knee had he not because the league isn't showing them on TV.

Pence exposed them.

I can’t imagine going to one of those games after all this.

what better way to show off your patriotism?

By not giving them a red cent. That's how it's done.

And again, Pence's boss already made multiple statements about the NFL. So it appears possible Pence felt left out.

“President Trump has tweeted his approval of VP Pence’s decision to leave the 49ers football game...

I asked @VP Pence to leave stadium if any players kneeled, disrespecting our country. I am proud of him and @SecondLady Karen.

Yes, he did the right thing. Unfortunately the crowd didn’t follow him. I think the counter-protest has peaked. If you are pissed by now, you aren’t going to get pissed.

And even if they comped him his ticket, and his hot dog and soda, did they also comp everything to his entourage and Secret Service detail?

How many thousands of dollars did the NFL make off of this little bit of virtue signaling and kabuki theater?

And how many of them were taxpayer dollars?

Planned I’m sure, but a statement needed to be made for the cameras. Pence knows all media will run with this so no better way to protest than to let the media spread your words/actions. And it worked.

Thank you, VP Pence, for setting a good example. That was precisely the right thing to do.

Such a public example of someone walking out of a game because of protest will hurt my more than the $20 on concessions. I doubt this was done by accident.

Boy, that doesn’t say much for those in Indiana does it? Entertainment over patriotism? Compromise over conservatism? Self indulgence over principle?

I’m surprised he even went.

It's called an olive branch. His home team was playing, and he attended to show his support - and to give all the players a chance to do the right thing.

They didn't, so he left.

Looks like they defecated right on Pence’s “Olive branch”.

My wife just told me the old stream media reported that he left - NO MENTION OF ANY PROTEST AS THE CAUSE FOR HIS DEPARTURE. Convenient isn't it to just ignore all the facts.

Why do these spectators even stand and place hand over heart, when by attending and giving the NFL their money they are clearly stating they don’t care about the anti Americanism on display by the players?

If they really care about patriotism then they would boycott the NFL and their spoiled ass**** players. That seems to me to be the genuine way to state you care about the flag and anthem.

I’m not watching one minute of the No-Fans-League until they apologize, and mean it.
