(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch was informed yesterday by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) that the FBI has located 30 pages of documents related to the June 27, 2016, tarmac meeting between former Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton, and proposes non-exempt material be produced no later than November 30, 2017 (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Justice (No. 1:16-cv-02046)).
The new documents are being sent to Judicial Watch in response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed after the Justice Department failed to comply with a July 7, 2016, FOIA request seeking the following:
All FD-302 forms prepared pursuant to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s investigation of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of a private e-mail server during her tenure. All records of communications between any agent, employee, or representative of the Federal Bureau of Investigation regarding, concerning, or related to the aforementioned investigation. This request includes, but is not limited to, any related communications with any official, employee, or representative of the Department of Justice, the Executive Office of the President, the Democratic National Committee, and/or the presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton. All records related to the meeting between Attorney General Lynch and former President Bill Clinton on June 27, 2016.
The FBI originally informed Judicial Watch they did not locate any records related to the tarmac meeting. However, in a related case, the Justice Department located emails in which Justice Department officials communicated with the FBI and wrote that they had communicated with the FBI. As a result, by letter dated August 10, 2017, from the FBI stated, “Upon further review, we subsequently determined potentially responsive documents may exist. As a result, your [FOIA] request has been reopened…”

There are a hundred ways that this meeting between Bill and Lynch could have occurred without any face-to-face contact. It always amazes me that they had to meet this way. You have to wonder if Bill just handed her a ‘gift’.
I am confused, perplexed, baffled... as to any reason why the DOJ would need to be forced to turn over anything related to the tarmac meeting. The DOJ should be doing their own investigation, not alone stonewalling Judicial Watch’s investigation.
and that is they think will placate them for the time being. I would bet the number would be in the thousands by now.
As with the IRS, the ability to ‘slow walk’ FOIA and other such items is almost the ability to deny justice and due process. When bureaucracy has this ability then the public and the legislative check on their actions becomes useless.

Wish I could have taken six weeks to turn in and then fail to turn in) any papers in school.
Maybe the contents of Comey’s office DIDN’T fall into the wrong hands.. as I’ve fretted about.
President Trump is president, the FBI director works for him, correct? Why isn’t anyone asking President Trump to shortcut these games and for sake of transparency release all requested documents immediately. And for sake of transparency, (1) order all government agencies to immediate release all requested investigatory documents and (2) ask HIS attorney general to appoint special counsel or investigator for EACH of the matters: Comey, Lynch, Lerner, Clinton, etc. Separate them from the day-to-day and, much like Mueller, let a special counsel address each. Way past time to do this.
Yep what’s up with this? It was just an innocent meeting, they both just happened to be at the airport in Phoenix at the same time.

Bill is a sociopath with special people handling skills. They only work face to face; deep eye contact, a personal touch, a smile focused just on you and nobody else. You can’t do that by remote.
Every person who has written about meeting Bill talks about his “personal magnetism.” Until you have met a sociopath you can’t imagine what it’s like. I worked with a sociopath and watched the impact he had on people when he turned on the charm. Amazing.
Here’s a great book on the subject. “The Sociopath Next Door.”
I doubt ‘the thirty pages’ have anything to do with conversations between Lynch and Clinton.
FBI agents were asked to LEAVE THE PLANE.
The thirty pages would have to do with the mundane... time, names of people present, when planes landed, when they took off etc etc.
