Several House Democrats introduced articles of impeachment targeting President Trump on Wednesday, asserting that Trump has violated the Constitution.
Democratic Reps. Steve Cohen (Tenn.), Luis Gutiérrez (Ill.), Al Green (Texas), Adriano Espaillat (N.Y.), Marcia Fudge (Ohio) and John Yarmuth (Ky.) said the five articles of impeachment come out of concern for the country's national security.
"We believe that President Trump has violated the Constitution, and we've introduced five articles of impeachment," Cohen said at a press conference.

They are trying to undermine his ability to deal with foreign leaders. Why? because the foreign press looks at the wa post and the ny times, and thinks they are the absolute gospel truth, instead of being vicious liberal lying rags of bias. Foreigners believe it, and think that Trump is a goner. Thus he loses credibility in the eyes of foreigners.
The dems then would be able to say that Trump is ineffective in dealing with foreign leaders.

BTW, as far as I can tell, Dems “introduce” impeachment articles at least once a week now, and the fake stream media dutifully publicizes this as if it’s “news”.
