Does Shawn Hannity Share Much of the Blame for Defeat of Roy Moore?
self ^ | 12/13/17 | vannnity

Shawn Hannity did a number on Judge Roy Moore Senatorial campaign. Candidate Roy Moore allowed himself to be bushwhacked in a telephone interrogation on national television.

Hannnity acted as a prosecutor during the interview. How many Democrats when faced with a sexual scandal, encountered a prosecutorial styled interview? I cannot think of any.

Do you remember Steve Kroft's interview of the Clinton's, which was later called the "Stand by Your Man" interview because of Hillary's defense of Bill Clinton? They were all soft ball questions with no follow up. I wanted to smash my television! I wanted to smash my television because it was evident this was a damage control interview designed to put to rest the allegations of Bill Clinton's mistreatment of women.

Why did Hannity participate in the dismantling of Roy Moore? Did someone from the deep state give him a call? Why did Roy Moore agree to such a inquisition? I have to admit, the answers Moore gave were indeed creepy.

Never a prosecutorial styled interview of a Democrat! Double standard, brought to us this time by Shawn Hannity.

Sean didn’t do anything wrong. He did a good and proper interview, Moore is the one who screwed it up. of course any interviewer would ask questions that people want to know and I figure Sean thought Moore would categorically deny. He was probably as shocked as anyone at Moore’s response.

I am no fan of Sean, i think he’s too partisan but do believe he did nothing wrong here.

Nobody is responsible but Alabama voters. It is possible, just possible that the candidate can take some blame as well.

He certainly did not help.

He should have been pounding McCOnnell instead of Moore.

The swamp dweller RINO’s are happy he lost. That tells you everything.

All I hear this morning from them is “See? Let US decide who we wont, or’ we’ll let them lose”

Of course it’s better he lost. It would have been better if he’d won

We’re on a trumps team now

Or

He’s on our team. The team of We the People. We’re winners like he is

Let’s get out of the battered world that we broke ourselves out of.

We win. This is a win. Trump has people everywhere he’s looking at this. What happened who are these politicians who find people out of the woodwork

It was ted Kennedy himself -his staffers- who found Anita Hill. Himself a notorious womanizer

Trump is learning

get used to winning

This will get better

Trump knows he needs the senate. Now he does let’s see

Maybe. Brooks was just on local radio, I guess speech in the House, and has prostate cancer. Found around Halloween. Said it was a good thing he lost or he probably wouldn’t have gone or had time to go to doctor and not discovered when he did.

I voted for Mo in the original primary. He is our Congress Critter.

Regardless of how good or bad a candidate Moore was,I am still doubtful of nothing more than RINOs being offered by the GAP in the future.

I wish all media would question people equally hard regardless of party loyalty. That is what is wrong the the D’s in the Media . . . they go easy on their favored ones . . . and even a slight perception of throwing a few hard balls will get them in hot water . . . like Matt Lauer and Hillary interview on that ship during the election race.

Not Sean’s fault. Moore gave horrible replies that didn’t help one little bit. Actually made it WORSE.

That is the point I am trying to make. Double standard.

At this point, "double standard" goes without saying. However, whether intending to or not, you are saying that Moore required softball questions in order to survive. The accusations were coming in hard and fast, and Moore whiffed. It's like when you ask someone "have you ever been convicted of a felony?". You want the answer to be "no.", not "well, not actually convicted."

An even more egregious example of bias was in Charles Gibson's hammering of Sarah Palin in a on-on-one interview shortly after she was chosen as McLame's running mate. His Obama interview consisted of such tough questions as "when did you realize that Michelle was 'the one'?"

I’m not a fan of Hannity (or any cable news talking heads) but Moore ran a horrible campaign. The blames falls on the candidate.

Probably several reasons. Here are two:

1. only 50% of the Republicans who voted in 2016 turned out to vote yesterday. Whereas, 92% of the Democrats who voted in 2016 turned out to vote yesterday.

Republican turn out the vote campaign failed miserably.

2. Bannan may be a master politician but not in Alabama. His style is not for the South. He turns people off down here. He gained no votes and more than likely cost Moore some votes.

Sean leaned over backward to help Roy. He answered clumsily the question his whole life hung on. He ought to have thought through that question knowing everything depended on it.

It’s Sean and Salem was 24/7 anti-Moore.

That’s all Medved and Hewitt talked about.

They are the supporters of Hastert, an actual sex offender.

No more Republicans.

Sorry.

:Bill Clinton was a creep and also, possibly a rapist. Steve Kroft gave a softball interview designed to be disinformational.”

Yes, it is mind boggling the same crowd is having righteous indignation over an alleged sexual thing. I don’t buy it. They see this as a tool to use to win. Remember their motto: by any means necessary.

but let’s be honest, Mickey “fricken” Mouse could have won last night as the Republican nominee with no support from the establishment.

Strange but I thought the same thing about the second term win of Obama.

“I give up. It makes you wonder how Trump got elected.”

I don’t think this upset is as dire as it seems. The whole weight of GOPe quislings, dems, and presstitutes were brought to bear down on the election in this one small state, they threw the kitchen sink, brought the buses and all, and eked out a dubious squeaker in this off year election.

They cannot pile resources like that in a general election, although it would be nice if they did.

Still, I’m reverting to my other tagline.

I just looked

705,000 votes fewer total

And nearly all them no shows or not voting on our side

Flips and no shows and high dem turnout

The planets did align and i never figured they would

Moore for about 47 percent the votes Trump did and Jones got 95% what Hillary did

Never woulda believed that possible in a state that has voted 88-90% GOP statewide for past 20 plus years

Could it be duplicated in Wyoming?
Another supe solid state
Maybe not...
No solid minirity block....black turnout was higher than their electorate proportion....which explains posters here opining about all the blacks at their polling places
