French actress Catherine Deneuve has said that men should be "free to hit on" women.
She is one of 100 French women who wrote an open letter, warning about a new "puritanism" sparked by recent sexual harassment scandals.
It deplores a wave of "denunciations" following rape allegations made against US movie mogul Harvey Weinstein.
A group of French feminists condemned the letter, accusing the signatories of trivializing sexual violence....
The letter by French women writers, performers and academics was published in France's Le Monde newspaper on Tuesday.
"Men have been punished summarily, forced out of their jobs when all they did was touch someone's knee or try to steal a kiss", it said.
"Rape is a crime, but trying to seduce someone, even persistently or clumsily, is not-and nor is men being gentlemanly a chauvinist attack"......

I have not seen many hotter than Deneuve even in more recent times. She not only had a sweet face, and a great figure, she was more feminine than most other women in show biz.

This IS a war on men, namely WHITE heterosexual men.
And God help you if you are also a Republican.
If someone falls into any of those categories, White, Hetero, Male, or Republican, the traps are all set.
We can only neutralize or win this if we stick together and FIGHT HARD the PC BS. Quite using their words. Quit toeing the lines. QUIT APOLOGIZING. QUIT starting off our ‘answers’ and views with ‘qualifying statements’.
And for GODS SAKE, we need to stick together and quit making silly statements like we will not support so-and-so if this or that. WE NEED TO ‘BE’ the WALL. Not just build one. but BE one.
A sweet, wonderful movie from the 60’s. Wish there were more sweet, wonderful movies made these days.
I have some friends who are using some of the Christian ‘matching’ websites. I hope they find their match, but the clinical ‘matching’ just makes me a little sad. That being said I suspect the men, who really want to find the right woman, feel more secure in a website sending them possibilities. At least they won’t likely be accused of looking at a woman the wrong way.
I saw about 5 minutes of the Golden Globes. I saw Chris Hemsworth making excuses for successful men in the Entertainment Industry and thought ‘wow, I always saw him as an Alpha Male (probably because of the strong roles he plays).....not so much anymore’. I suppose his words were written for him as he was a presenter, but how sad that successful males have to basically apologize for their success.
About 5 years ago my brother came up with the idea to have a white male lobbying group in DC. zero was president at the time. LOL
I’m not a big movie buff but remember “The April Fools” as a wonderful, Capraesque movie with an especially outstanding performance from Jack Lemmon.
