First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has announced the government is working to change the narrative around migration to persuade Scots that the nation needs huge numbers of people from abroad. Speaking at the launch of a Scottish government paper which argues for continuing open borders with Europe after Britain’s exit from the European Union (EU), the SNP leader claimed a population that is ever-expanding as a result of mass migration is “essential to our economic prosperity”.

Privatize retirement (as in retirement investment vehicles like USA’s 401k/403b/IRA/etc) instead of relying on more working age people that the government can take from to ‘give’ as benefits. A stable or a slow and steady shrinking population shouldn’t be a problem as long as you are not messed up by a gov’t ponzi scheme.

The US doesn’t need Global Trade - we have enough people to provide a good market and support a lot of manufacturing. Whoever comes here needs to aspire to be part of the melting pot, and not contribute to further Balkanazation.
