Walgreens will now allow men to use womens restroom facilities in all stores across the country on the basis of gender identity as opposed to biological sex.
The company announced the new policy after a female LGBT activist claimed a Walgreens employee forced her to use the mens restroom because of her appearance. The American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California assisted the individual, who is biologically female and identifies as female, in bringing her complaint to Walgreens corporate.
Instead of affirming that a woman should be able to use the womens restroom, Walgreens, at the urging of the ACLU and other LGBT activists, has apparently decided best remedy for the situation is to welcome biological men to use the womens restroom. The companys new policy, per a directive released this week, says:
According to the same directive, Walgreens defines gender identity as: A persons innate, deeply-felt sense of ones gender. Ones gender identity may not correspond to that persons sex as assigned at birth.
In other words, gender identity is what that person feels, at that given moment.

Is this true, or is the author playing fast and loose with the definition of biologically female? Is this a man who had surgery, but still looks like a man?
I noticed they didnt supply a photo. Is she 64 and full of muscle? Does she have a beard?
Thanks for the clarification.

Does “she” have an Adam’s Apple?
economic suicide! bye bye walgreens, women do the most shopping and you just cut your di## off, pardon the pun
The Walgreens near me has a single use toilet and also a passcode. You have to ask an employee to get the passcode.
I will never know if he pees on the seat, the floor or the wall. I will never ever use Walgreen’s again. Not ever.

It isn’t decent to share a bathroom with the opposite sex. It is rude and worrisome.
I have only used a Walgreen's restroom once, and it was as you describe. I no longer go there for the other reasons you mention. They are slow and incompetent. I have some expensive prescriptions and my doctor provides me with discount cards provided by the drug manufacturer. Walgreens repeatedly would forget to apply the discount card, and even when I gave them the card and told them to run it again, they still failed to get it to work. I switched to CVS, and while they have forgotten to apply the discount card, it just takes them a moment to rerun it and apply it.
My wife had trouble getting her Atnolol prescription because there was a shortage of the drug because it is now such a cheap generic. I ordered her some from an overseas pharmacy, and tried Walgreens again after months. Still "out of stock". Switched her prescription to CVS and they filled it with no problem. Walgreens does have the whiff of impending failure about it.
That must be for employees ... there’s no restrooms in any of the Walgreens I go in that I could use.
Maybe women who think they are men DO use the men’s room, but they don’t kick up a fuss over it.
I wonder what new diseases will now infect the women’s bathroom?
Walgreens has bathrooms? I’ll hold it, thanks.
From what I’ve seen (rarely use the bathroom at Walgreen’s), they have single restrooms, so, I don’t give a frig.
