Yep, I think last time I donated to the NRA was maybe when Clinton was POTUS but watching these arrogant brats, their media enablers and praisers, and cowering Republicans sure is inspiring me.
Ah, yes, yes they do have this right. We are still a free people.
It is incumbent upon us to take their advocacy seriously and educate them on the dangers of their goal.

Okay, how's this for starters?

I will criticize them. They’re playing politics as instructed by their handlers. And the national and local media are praising them without any balance.
This is the Jersey Girls for high school.
They’ve had a lifetime of indoctrination in fascism/communism in their school. Undoing that evil brainwashing is nearly impossible. They’re already using the corpses of their schoolmates to politicize the situation (nevermind it was their leftist politics employed in Broward that enabled the shooter, when he’d have been arrested and locked away in a politically sane district).
I disagree vehemently that they have a right to advocate for their fascism. Guns is just a smokescreen. The issue isn’t even the issue, the issue is the revolution.
If you don’t give kids the benifit of your years you aren’t doing them any favors.

These are young kids. I can remember how I thought at that age. First, I reacted. Emotionally. I rebelled. I was full of angst. I knew better than grown-ups. So, I feel for them.
The difference is that I HAD grown-ups in my life. They were everywhere. They explained a bigger picture than I saw. They explained right and wrong, good and bad. I had the advantage of exposure to views not centered on ME and what I demanded.
I would have demanded to be interviewed on tv - my family would have put their collective foot down with a resounding NO.
"Yeah, I'll be at work tomorrow, maybe. Unless I need to talk to the press. I'm very important, you know."
Oh well. To be 18 again and be positive that you know everything.
This is a terribly defeatist attitude, IMHO. If you think and act as though teenagers are lost, then I assure you they will be. And so will the nation.
Perhaps we need to stop whining about how difficult turning this around will be just get to work.

And, had *I* suggested to my father that *I* had other things far more important than going to school...he'd not have put his foot down. He'd have put it up my backside, so as to provide the proper encouragement.
Emphasize “nearly” impossible. I got that same brainwashing in school over 3 decades ago, but I broke out of it by 12 (and I credit God Almighty for that). The Leftist-Democrat media is shamelessly exploiting these kids and their parents. In three days, all the news outlets had interviews with the students who were not grieving but protesting, and the plans for a million student march on D.C. were set.
This reeks of yet another plot against President Trump, as only students who blame him for the shooting are being given air time, and the Republicans, who have the NRA’s support for the 2018 elections. WE MUST FIGHT FOR OUR RIGHT TO DEFEND OURSELVES GUARANTEED TO US IN THE SECOND AMENDMENT. BE SURE TO REGISTER AND VOTE TO KEEP IT IN NOVEMBER.
The media rolls these kids out as mouthpieces spouting what the MSM wants to hear, that it’s somehow Trump’s fault and there is need for some “common sense gun reform” that will magically ever prevent a crime from occurring in the future. The MSM uses these two as puppets, knowing that the optics would look horrible if they’re ideas were attacked.
Down with the American “juvenocracy”!
