There is a Captain James Kirk in the Navy right now, he commands the USS Zumwalt. The next Navy carrier bearing the name ‘Enterprise’ will be completed in 2020, if I remember correctly.

Oh please oh please oh please :-) “

I second that!

In the Movie “Aliens” the Space Force were Marines......Seems right to me. Marines man ships....including Space ships....

The Air Force had a ‘space force.’ It was called “Aerospace Defense Command”.

A BFR could put up a dozen-plus 10 metric ton Rods-From-God in one launch. Think GBU-57 with impact on target at Mach 25—40.

Plasma and MHD applications from Russian AYAKS / NASA Glenn hypersonic applied to the reentry device could minimize energy lost to passage through the atmosphere. The reentry plasma can be manipulated to provide maneuvering.

So this must be the God-Emperors doing in the background, so this is the beginning on how the Adeptus Astartes came to be around 28,000 years from now.

Freepers who are WH40k fans will understand my meaning.

That must have been really cool to be there for that.

We interacted with Peterson and Buckley AFB.

You been watching MeTV? I think they’re on episode 4 next week (they skipped 4 this week due to the TIME JUMP).

Dr. Smith was a real beast in the early days. I still prefer Land of the Giants. That’s a show with some class.

Somebody should tell him the Air Force already has Space Command.

Hence the use of the words - Create a new military BRANCH - he knows we have a space command under the AF.........

The air force already sucks, let’s not give them anything more to suck at.

Seems to me a division of the Air Force can handle potential space-based combat, I see no need for a separate branch, at least not now, when their hasn’t been any space-based combat as of yet.
