I’m amazed at the number of supposedly savvy folks here who are trashing Trumps savagely this evening.
Folks for heaven’s sake, put down the drugs and sleep them off.
Is Mitch McConnell on Trump’s side?
Is Paul Ryan on Trump’s slide?
Are either of them on our side?
Is McConnell getting Trump’s judicial appointments processed in a speedy manner?
Is there funding for the wall in this?
Is a big crack-down on illegal immigrants funded?
Trump has about as much chance of surviving a veto of this bill as Charles Manson had of getting out of prison before his death.
By the end of media and political onslaught over a budget shutdown, Stormy Daniels would have been seen as one of Trump’s best supporters.
Let’s face it folks, we have no team in Washington, D. C. McConnell and Ryan have effectively destroyed Trump’s platform.
Now, back to trashing Trump as if he had any help whatsoever back there and had betrayed us.

Trump needs to hear this. He needs to hear us being upset at him.
If he hears us with our “4d chess” bullsh!ttery he’ll just keep going.
He needs to know we are not happy. He tweeted in the morning that he was vetoing it. He signed it a few hours later. This isn’t a “brilliant bluff” or a “Strategy” this is a goddam lie.
Name five politicians in Washington, D. C. that would have backed Trump if he vetoed this bill.
Name ten press publications that would have.
Name two networks that would have.
It would appear that global powers have forced Trump’s hand.
That’s not good for us.
Trump didn’t roll over.
He was put in a position where he had to accept terms.

Rush and Levin were really out of their prospective trees today. Either that or they were grasping for ratings from listeners who don’t understand.
I’m a bit disappointed in El Rushbo. Badmouthing Trump for this supposed “failure”. NOBODY bats 1000! Rush’s bigshot buddy George Brett busted his hump to keep an average of .400. How successful was he?
I’m sure Trump feels a lot worse about this than we do.
In George Brett’s case, it was Brett against only the pitcher. In Trump’s case, pretty much all of DC is against him, including the DOJ, FBI, and both houses of Congress. But God chose Trump, and we are only in the top of the first inning of this game.
