The parents of Trayvon Martin claim The Weinstein Company is trying to weasel out of its obligation to pay them at least $150,000.
Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin filed paperwork in federal bankruptcy court in Delaware on Friday claiming TWC signed a deal in March 2017 promising to pay the six-figure amount to produce a TV series based on their book, "Rest in Power: The Enduring Life of Trayvon Martin."

Seriously though, if they are owed the money, they should get the money.
Sorry, winestain is a little busy. But he’ll get back to you real, real soon. No, really. Crickets.
TV series on that? Ha, what a joke.
Get in line...
Harvey Weinstein feels bad about that debt he owes. He has emailed Trayvon’s mother Sybrina Fulton. ‘Ms. Fulton, I feel terrible about this confusion. Please do stop by my home office in New York tonight at 8pm, so we can discuss the situation. Your visit will be of mutual benefit, of that I can guarantee you! Just tell the Desk Clerk that you are ‘Here for Harvey’. He will ring you right up! Please wear something black, sleeveless and very sheer.”

Hahahahahahahahahahaha!
They wrote a book about the life and times of Trayvon? Really? I missed that completely.
Is it in the dollar bin somewhere?
It’s been awhile, he would probably go for her.
Grifters gotta grift.
The Martins cashed in on Trayvon’s death and now they’re bankrupt?
My observation as well. In fact they wrote a book.
I worked at a walmart when 0bama was elected. After his inauguration we had numerous folks returning all their 0bama memorabilia. It didn't last long.
I think the bankruptcy reference is to Weinstein's company, and not to the Martins, who have filed a claim, as would anyone who is owed money by his company.

...
That’s the real news.
Birds of a feather....
Good to hear from you too. Thanks for clearing up the bankruptcy issue.
They’ll just have to sell some more t-shirts. Alternatively maybe Netflix will give them a sweetheart deal.
Note that the filing is in Delaware, a popular state for corporations to be legally registered in. I do not think the Martins (who are from Florida)are registered there.
These families hit the jackpot when when of their useless feral spawn catches a bullet fired by a non-black person.
Isn’t Netflix doing something on Obamy? Glad we never wasted our hard earned dollars on it.
Did they ever get reimbursed for the t-shirt fiasco with the relatives? Not that anyone cares.
