Maybe someone smarter than me, and, yes, I know they are legion, can explain this for me. The DOJ and the FBI are part of the Executive Branch of our government. President Trump heads the Ex Branch.
Why can’t President Trump say to Sessions, “Give Nunes and Gowdy the documents they want by noon tomorrow.”
There is a reason they are called a gang. Gangsters all.

Next step is for Trump to send a FORCEFUL presidential order for the documents (UNREDACTED) with a 24 hour deadline that if not met will result in CUFFS for Rosenstein and Sessions, for starters.

Brennan's tweet the other day calling out McConnell and Ryan was a veiled threat. Brennan has stated that he personally briefed each member of the Gang of Eight on "the Russia investigation" (in other words, the spying on Trump?) during 2016.
If Nunes and Gowdy kick over this anthill, Brennan is taking everyone down with him.
If that is the case, then I would hope that the President matter-of-factly tells the Gang of Eight that if they can't bring themselves to either get right or get lost right now, he will declassify and dump every G-D bit of info on congress and their staffers. Expose them all and let God sort 'em out, so to speak.
My spidey sense tells me NUNES will be on Hannity tonight.
