I am not from Missouri but I just saw this story on Fox News.

You are so right. Democrats always circle the wagons when their is a scandal and off hand, I don’t think that I ever saw Democrats making public accusations at other Democrats.

I wonder if any of the Carnahan siblings run in 2020...

He was a Rat until 2015. Then he became an opportunist. Anyway, good riddance.

yep, I with I knew that when I voted for his lame ass. Any Navy Seal who uses a hair stylist has got to be suspect. A real man uses a barber or has his wife cut his hair with a $30 pair of clippers. Just saying.

Pelosi used the Mark Foley scandal to take over in 2006. Foley was tied to every Republican running. Look for the same play again.

Yep, most of the people resigning either from Congress or elsewhere to this point have been Republicans. There has been a small number of Democrats that have bowed out, but the numbers should be at least equal to or higher than what we are seeing from the GOP given how corrupt the DemocRats are. So yes, the "corrupt GOP" meme almost certainly will be deployed by the DNC for the midterms.

All we would have to do is bring up Eric Schneiderman

Hawley is a big RINO that caused this. I hate him.

No — Greitens became his own worst enemy. And if he lied to his wife, he’d have lied to others.

Hmmm. That might be a special case much like the taking down of Harvey Weinstein who must have been hated and feared by many in Hollywood. Weinstein was taken down as king so there must be others who would want his place.

Al Franken strikes me as a really unlikeable lecher and a generally obnoxious person so there might have been many people who were fed up with him.

We had several acceptable candidates in the primary. Peter Kinder was my choice, but as I told a survey, “anybody but Greitens”. I didn’t trust him. That said, once he was elected, I hoped for the best. Didn’t appreciate Josh Hawley and other Republicans piling on like they did. I don’t know who I will vote for in the senate race now. Will we never rid ourselves of McCaskill?

Interesting. Another questionable politician. We need better people. We are not promoting our best.

What is the appeal of McCaskill anyway? I’m from Massachusetts so I am not on the inside track on Missouri

You people who are attacking Hawley for being against Greitens are nuts. Greitens is an arrogant, corrupt, in it only for me politician, the type most of you normally hate. He was poison and the only person more upset than he is over his resignation is Claire McCaskill. His resignation will help Republicans far more than his continued fighting to stay in office would have. Besides, he was about to be impeached, anyway. As a conservative Missourian, I am very happy he resigned. This helps us significantly in the midterms.

The trouble with that is “we” don’t have a compliant national media arm. EVERY press outlet will carry the things democrats want to draw attention to gleefully and without evaluation. They will also subject republican charges to review, and rejection.

“What’s wrong with a Rhodes Scholar?”

I have the impression that Rhodes Scholars tend to be co-opted into the Globalist agenda. I may be wrong...
