BRENNAN GOES OFF: Vows to Criticize Trump 'Until Integrity Returns to the White House'
Sean Hannity ^ | June 1, 2018 | Hannity Staff

Posted on 06/01/2018 1:50:40 PM PDT by yoe

Former CIA director John Brennan tears into President Trump in a new op-ed for the Washington Post, vowing to continue speaking out against the president “until integrity returns to the White House.”

Brennan, who served as director of the agency under former President Obama, is a frequent Trump critic. Most recently, he referred to Trump’s decision to pull out of the Iran nuclear agreement as “madness.”

[snip]The Treasury IG examined the payments and reported in November 2016 that it had received verbal assurance from the Justice Department "that the settlement comports with the VTVPA." In its semiannual report to Congress in March 2017, the IG said the payment was made "after receiving necessary information and authorizations from the Departments of Justice and State."

The Tablet article raised questions about the size of the interest penalty -- $1.3 billion -- and called on Treasury to release all documents related to the payment of the claim, such as the computation of the amount of interest allegedly owed. (The Treasury IG report indicated the State Department relied on a calculation involving the annual prime lending rate and simple interest method, which seems out of the ordinary.) We made a request to Treasury for the information, but a Treasury spokesperson declined to provide it because of the ongoing litigation between the United States and Iran.

It’s more like sanity... no agreement would be better than an “agree to close our eyes” agreement.

I don’t recall any intelligence or law enforcement official injected themselves into politics as much as Brennan, Clapper and Comey have.

It seems like they are political animals first, intelligence & law enforcement officials second.

Lends credence to the idea that Obama weaponized these agencies.

Integrity is when you covertly use the taxpayer provided weaponry of international espionage to subvert the opposition candidate’s campaign?

Must have an odd definition of “integrity” in Ireland where Brennan comes from. The American version is radically different.

Probably just more stern, inflexible, cold crap from us Protestants, huh Johnny?

Hopefully, one of these days, he’ll be spewing his invective between the bars of his cell. His only audience will be the other inmates, and the unlucky few who are guards.

John Brennan’s Plot to Infiltrate the Trump Campaign

The American Spectator ^ | 22 May 2018 | George Neumayr

The members of Brennan’s working group at Langley “were just a bunch of out-of-control idiots,” says a former high-ranking CIA official to TAS. He finds it flabbergasting that Brennan would bring CIA officials and FBI officials into the same room to cook up schemes to send a spy into the Trump campaign’s ranks. One of those schemes involved money (Halper paid George Papadopoulos $3,000 for a phony research paper as a way of luring him into a London meeting); another involved sex (Halper’s assistant, with a name out of a bad spy novel, Azra Turk, tried to coax information from Papadopoulos at flirty bar outings, according to the Daily Caller’s Chuck Ross).

Like Brennan, Halper didn’t bother to hide his support for Hillary even as he conducted this infiltration. He told the press that he feared a Trump presidency, as it could harm the “special relationship” between the United States and Great Britain. That rationale must have figured into Alexander Downer’s motivation for working with Brennan’s Langley group too. Downer traveled in the same elitist circles as Christopher Steele, Halper, and John Kerry. It appears he sent word of his boozy evening with Papadopoulos back to Brennan’s group through these circles — either through Hillary partisans at the State Department or through Clinton Foundation channels, for whom he had worked as a kind of bag man.

Halper had come up empty, so Brennan’s group at Langley went with Downer’s tale, as feeble as it was. But it at least had the advantage of coming from a “diplomat.” Yet if Congressman Nunes is right and the originating document for the FBI probe doesn’t even contain a reference to an official intelligence product passed to Brennan from the Australian government, Downer’s hearsay must have been exceedingly flaky, so flaky no one would want to be on the record treating it as “evidence” for something as momentous as a probe into a presidential campaign.

The CIA has done some very wrong things for decades, but Brennan’s days had some significant shenanigans that were beneficial to muslin neck cutters around the world.

Like many with TDS this guy has no impulse control. Much of the plot against Trump went through his office & the rest was sent over to the UK. He knows he’s in deep trouble, but still...he can’t shut up his pie-hole.
