The increasing personal nastiness toward people who work for President Trump reflects the left’s understanding that they are losing. Nastiness reflects desperation not strength. They can’t win the argument so they use nastiness. Sad and dangerous.
I have lost my brother , my only sibling ....
College ruined my son. But it scares me that until recently we have been able to debate civilly. But something snapped with him. He said that I believed Trumps lies and that I watch too much Fox News (which I never watch) I am shell shocked!!
If Sarah had been a black woman, would the Red Hen have asked her to leave? Are Diamond and Silk interested in farm-to-table dinners? Are Trump voters included on this owner’s service-refusal list?
I’m afraid my elder son is headed that way. He does still listen to opposing views ATM. I’d say he’s more libertarian....but that may change when he gets to college.

Tell your son that he has joined the most murderous belief system the Earth whenever known and that you are disgusted. Let him know that joining the Manson family would have been less vile. Then cut off all contact until he leaves the murder cult.

I lived in the City of Detroit during the buildup to the July, 1967 riots as a Wayne State University student and employee.
I felt and experienced what some call the “vibes” of intense,intolereant hatred between blacks and whites. I don’t have to be a psychic to tell you it was palpable then wherever you went around people. Then it was an exploding, burning building mob riot. Took days for the National Guard to face down the out of control blacks then.
FReepers, do you feel some of that yet as we move toward Civil War II? Or just a sullen intensity beneath the surface as Trump people subserviently accept a lower status (getting jeered at, talked against, kicked out of a restaurant like Sanders,a house surrounded like Nielsen and knowing we have no right of free speech) as we say “nothing can be done, maybe Sessions will do something.” Do you feel the tension so far?

I wouldn’t dream of dining anywhere other than a Trump Hotel or golf course after this. I wouldn’t trust ANY restaurant now - they’d smile right at you and serve you a steak with some kind of disgusting person sauce, if you get my drift.
YOu don’t have to work for trump. Just being republican causes great problems. A person in my office was fired. Thats it fired by Comcast for having right winged face book posts. Someone called the head office and told HR that there was a racist working for Comcast. He had quoted something from a cable interview of david duke. The quote came from cable. He did not support duke. He just quoted him talking about a crime. ANd he was fired. He never told anyone he worked for comcast nor did he mention comcast on his facebook. So watch out or you will be fired for your views.
