Trust me. Mitch McConnell is so PO-ed by this stunt he is going to do ANYTHING to make them yes votes. Threaten to kill their pork. Yank their committee assignments. Have their Senate office moved to a converted Exxon station in Chevy Chase. What evidence do you have for this? Turtle Mitch appears to be a simpering RINO who cringes before the onslaught of an accusing woman like Ford.

Look for the tell tale signs of caving in on this within a few hours, 24 hrs....
Eventually, people in the media form a consensus about how to react to something. Just what that consensus will be is hard to predict. We'll know more after Kavanaugh speaks.

How could she possibly not remember who drove her and whose house it was its preposterous. But for 36 years she’s been waiting to stop this guy from being on the Supreme Court.Can't remember:
Year that the party happened
Where the party was
How she got there
How she got home
Basically she can't remember ANY detail that would permit Brett Kavanaugh the ability to prove he wasn't at that party.

Ford really does look mentally ill. The ragged face, unkept hair, jittering, shifting in chair, awkward laughing.I'm sure all of that is by design - along with the quivering, child-like voice - to give the appearance that the attack just happened a few hours ago. She doesn't want to come across as someone who is poised and in control, someone who is there on a political mission.
