Rubio: Trump must respond with ‘more than words’ over Jamal Khashoggi
NY Post ^ | October 14, 2018 | Mark Moore

Posted on 10/14/2018 8:25:45 PM PDT by conservative98

Republican Sen. Marco Rubio said President Trump must respond with more than “just words” if Saudi Arabia is found to be behind the disappearance of journalist Jamal Khashoggi or it would undermine the United States’ reputation as a champion of human rights.

“I’m glad the president didn’t tie his hands in terms of exactly what we are going to do. But it needs to be very strong and meaningful, it can’t be symbolic, it can’t just be words,” the Florida lawmaker said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

Trump has threatened “severe consequences” against Saudi Arabia but hasn’t gone into details what that would entail.

Rubio said the response has to be strong.

“If they lured this man into that consulate – they went medieval on him – and he was killed and he was chopped up and they sent a death crew down there to kill him. That would be an outrage,” he said.

He added that the US’ reputation is on the line by how Trump responds.

“Just because they are an ally in an important mission, which is containing Iranian expansion in the region, cannot allow us to overlook or walk away from that,” he said. “It undermines our ability to stand for morality and human rights all over the world.”

“How can we criticize (Russian President) Putin for killing journalists if we allow an ally to do the same?” he continued.

He needs Lindsey Graham to teach him how to butch it up a lil’ bit and grow some balls.

You’re right - it’s no skin off Rubio’s nose... pols talk big and rake in the cash - easily willing to throw away the lives and treasure of their fellow Americans.

There are things worth dying for - Khashoggi is NOT of of ‘em.

Jamal Khashoggi was NOT an American citizen and while his death might be sad - and cruelly done - it’s NOT our problem.

Did the queer frogs do it?

There’s a lot of questions regarding this situation, but the last thing we need is Jones’ self-indulgent posturing over it.

All excellent and correct points.

To which would add— keep in mind,Erdogan’s son was buying the ISIS stolen Syrian and Iraqi oil from their renegade tankers— on a daily basis— IOW supplying CASH to ISIS.

Second, while the attempted removal of was blamed (by the clinton machine majorly) on an exiled expat Turkish professor living in PA. Whom the clintons tried to get kicked out of the US and sent to Erdogan. So... the clinton/muzzie/obambi triad is at work here (the old alliance, merkel, german nazis and Turks who think they are the next Caliph. Erdogan told the former House of Saud that he is destined to be the next Caliph... the next Ataturk. The Saudis, esp. bin Salman the Crown Prince— laughed in his face.. arab style— cold humorous looks.

3rd. so this entire Kashoggi deal is a muslim brotherhood op to destabilize our rather helpful relationship built with Israel and joint security interests against Iran (remember obamaumao’s Iranian nuke deal— that’s who these whiners are) that the Saudis share with the US and against....Russia AND China both.

So, Marco is being paid by exactly whom?.... what mil contractor, what foreign outfit or nation— Spain? maybe, the Cuba/chi-com connextion. But my own opinion is this is JEB! and the Bush family pushing their “puppet” little Rubio— for the Bush interests in the ME, that coincide with their new pals.... the Obamaumao’s. Ultimate Deep State RINO collusion with the black marxist muslim his-self.

No one is listening Marco. On a scale of 1 to 10 the killing of Khashoggi ranks as -1,242 as relates to US national security interests.. The electorate does nor care and other than the Dems and CNN and you Marco who are trying to put Trump on the defensive no one gives a darn about your faux outrage.

Marco thinks he knows all and is the smartest M'Fer in the room.

There almost certainly is more to the story and you'd better be damn sure before you blow up relations.

Especially all those MB WaPo “journalists” who are in reality former see-eye-ehhhhh director Brennan’s little obamaumao cabal of muslim agents he had been running inside the former Talwaleed faction of the Saudis. The ones paying for the terrorist Madrassahs (the same madrassahs that the new Crown Prince bin Salman, our friend, has DE-funded!!)

So some “joe” muslim journalist operative was “caught out” by Saudi intel or even more hands off.. by Israeli contracted middle men contracted for the Saudis, to get rid of this threat to the Royal House of Saud. Yes, it is medieval— and that is how it is. Pussyfooting like Rubio— yacking about “human rights”... is posturing for some arab money he must be getting. He’s a joke as a result. Come to think of it— wonder if the Fanjul (Bahamian based) sugar conglomerate has some muzzie connections— because they are real Big Sugar people, and possibly connex to the M.E.

A lot of ‘we don’t know yet’, ‘ifs’, and ‘woulds’. I think he did very well:

What has gotten under Little Marco’s skin on this thing?

Other than the guy worked for WaPo; what business is it of his? Was he a CIA asset or something and he was personally invested in him somehow.

Something is really off.

I can’t resist not piling on ‘Little Marco’.

Sorry Little Marco the BIG Donald does not listen to your advice and no one else does as well.

So be quiet and go back to your crib and take a nap.

one has to ask ons self what is going on below the surface...I don’t believe that khashogi was there to process papers for a divorce. he could of done that at a Saudi consular office in New York. now as Why turkey? the ask is it enough removed from US surveillance that we would have to really on foreign security operatives for intelligence. then ask why would Turkey be concerned enough to claim to have intelligence implicating the Saudi government in killing Khashoggi. with anything else we must ask why kill the man as journalist he was just a annoying gnat for Saudi Arabia and not worth special treatment.

to many questions and not a battle we should pick. there is just more going on then what is open to the general public to know.

One of Brennans-am thinking. Brennan the converted muzzie, now with no security clearance.

Rubio sits on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence— the same one with Warner (Mr. Iran Deal), that Burr chairs. The “burr under his butt” for Rubio is some intel to which he is privy, and comes under the Brennan umbrella as well as the other DC muslim operatives from the MB that obamaumao cultivated and put in key agencies— really salted them everywhere. Rubio is sending smoke signals to the muzzies of the Deep State, and I’d say for the muzzies in the downline of the Bush family (Little Marco, a protege of both Romney and George W. Bush).

The guy was not some highly respected journalist...he was a Muslim Brotherhood guy. The problem here is that you could have done this via the Russians...making it look like some accident or heart-attack. Instead, they go and do this in some fairly stupid and public way.

Rubio is every bit as butt hurt over TRUMP, as Hillary Clinton, John McCain, Jeff Flake and his date, Paul Ryan. For each and all of them, being “OVER” is hard.
