Hurricane Dorian battered St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, and brushing Puerto Rico. Taking aim at the Florida Atlantic Coastline, Hurricane Dorian is projected to be a major hurricane (Category 3) at landfall.

Now, thanks to the width= percentage modifier, your image will automatically adapt and look good no matter the screen size or resolution. Smallest smart phone screen to largest monitor, your image will look good.
In the last 24 hours it has maintained a near perfect westward motion, only moving from 26.4° north to 26.5° north.
One degree at this latitude is about 69 miles, so .1° north latitude is only 6.9 miles.
Summary it continues west, jogging less than seven miles North. Hurricane cat five winds are out ~35 miles from the center, so 6.9 mile north isn’t much at all at this point.
They are telling us it will begin to track north, but it hasn’t shown that at all yet.
Everyone in broward and palm Beach counties, be aware.
Here in north Broward, we’ve got boaters out partying the day away while we want to tie our boat lines across the canal, but can’t until they return from their drunken parties. Once the lines are tied they can’t get back down the canals.
...unless they cut our lines, which had been known to happen by such fools. One boat loose and it crashes every other boat and homes. Not good.
I am likewise concerned that it continues to track further west. We could see models have to shift.
Actually,. I’m a little tired of the 80% image crowd. Even small images are blasted across large screens. It seems those setting 80% are using small screen like phones and tablets.
With the width= percentage modifier, the image will take up 80% of the screen horizontally no matter the actual screen size.
YUGE.
LOL
Not laughing at him. Just the truth of it is funny.
Will you have to evacuate? Or do you think you are in a safe enough zone and prepared enough to ride it out? Thanks for updating.
Scary.
Prayers.
At least they still have cell service.
During/after Harvey, many of us did not.
NEW FORECAST MODEL: HWRF just came in...It expects a landfall of a major hurricane in Central or North Florida. #Dorian helps pump the ridge to its NE -- meaning no escape route. pic.twitter.com/zanSF9x7qe— Andrew Wulfeck (@andrewwulfeck) September 1, 2019
Just read a prediction for landfall Tuesday night at New Smyrna??
Man, oh man.
Close Shave region: Southern Brevard County
If Dorian wobbled just 10-20 miles west this goes to 70 gusting 100+. If it wobbled 10-20 east it's TStorm Gusts & thundershowers. North thereof playing with fire.

And due to prayer, Jesus compensates! ...storm veers out to sea.
That’s my GUY ((((Hugs))))
WOW!!......
The 5PM and 11PM NHC updates will be interesting.
