Yeah, that usually results in some pretty heavy duty “degrowth”.
And yet none of these folks will say that one obvious way to implement degrowth is to stop immigration from 3rd World to 1st world countries. That is the best path to achieve their goals and yet no one will propose it.

Marxism style communism has always claimed to be scientific, yet actual social experiments (Russia/USSR, China, Cambodia, Venezuela, Cuba, N. Korea and on and on) prove that the reality bears no resemblance at all to the Marxist communist hypothesis.
Yet when this is pointed out, the advocates simply deny the reality.

There are two problems at the base of that statement.
The definition of just what those boundaries are is not scientific nor is there a proven method for determining them. Just remember back to the 1970s when the same kind of people said they had convincing evidence that by the year 2000 we would be unable to feed the world and mass starvation would be increasing. Is that what happened?
Those who buy into the theory are not motivated by trying to save either the planet or humanity. Buying into the theory is a means of using the theory for political agendas, not improvement of the world or humananity.
