Rush reviewed the whole situation and then concluded that until Pelosi is certain of a conviction in the Senate she will not name the managers and submit the impeachment articles to the Senate.

McConnell needs to set a deadline for the senate to receive the formal submission, after which he’ll consider the impeachment articles expired and void.
Tell the house that their job is over, except for the formal submission to the senate. No more investigating, no more delays or other shenanigans. Send them by (specified date) or don’t send them at all. The senate will provide their acquittal either way.
They could not have due process in the House and had to railroad the President, but now all of a sudden they want to hold it back.

Why does ms pelosi seem to think the house deserves anything but the same feelings on the other side? The house running a fully partisan, one sided sham called ‘hearings’ should have the Senate ‘trial’ be accomodated with the same “rules ? there’s only my rules” approach that schiff and nadless employed. I heard, from a fairly reliable source, that the purpose (by Pelosi) of the timing of the House impeachment was in order that a Senate trial happens at the first of the year and takes several weeks.
That keeps a couple of very liberal Senators (Sanders, Warren) from campaigning in some early caucus/primary states since they would need to be in Washington. The Dem establishment doesn’t want them to win the nomination.
The Senate will mess up her plans if the trial goes too quickly.
