Link to Kansas Primary Unofficial results.

https://ent.sos.ks.gov/

Very early, but Marshall for Senate ahead with 33%. I voted for Kobach, who is at 23%. Kansas 2nd has LaTurner at 44%, Taylor and Watkins spliting the balance. Kansas 3rd has Atkins ahead with 34%, Weir 2nd at 22%, Beehler has 18%. (I voted Beehler.)

Johnson county (KS 2nd) has Electronic Machine voting with a reviewable printed ballot if needed later, but I think they have a large number of mail in ballots.

Lyon county is the only county where all precincts have reported.

A distinction without a difference. The net result is higher taxes and more free stuff paid for by other people either way.

Is there crossover voting in KS? ie, can RATs vote for Republicans?

It's a closed primary. Having said that it's not uncommon for Democrats in Kansas to register as Republicans to screw with Republican primaries.

So ‘reading the tea leaves,’ Mike Detmer was President of Young Republicans in college, and lists his religion as Christian - he probably has a built in social network

Isn’t Watkins (trailing in 02) an incumbent congressman?

Nevermind:” In mid-July, the local district attorney charged Watkins with four counts of voter fraud in connection with him listing a UPS store as his residence on his voter registration form. ”

He is, but has some legal issues that have caused him some problems. Providing a UPS address for his home address which the county DA pounced on and has made into an issue. (The DA may have some connection to Jake LaTurner, the other candidate.) There are some other issues that I was not following.

Watkins loaded up his pickup truck with cow piles, spread them out in his front yard and then danced in the middle of it. He was covered with cow shit.

He decided to save a little money and lived in his parents home. But in order to conceal this fact, he rented a mail box and registered to vote at that address and then voted in that precinct. Then he lied about it when he was confronted.

Yes, after all she used to be a Republican (though very, very liberal, so when she became democrat, one was hardly surprised.)

It was as though she was finally coming home!
