A massive manhunt is underway in Maine for an Army reserve firearms instructor who was sectioned this summer for mental health reasons, and is suspected of shooting dead 22 people on Wednesday night at multiple sites in Lewiston.
Robert Card, 40, from Bowdoin, Maine, was named by Maine state police as the a 'person of interest' in the shootings at a bowling alley, restaurant and Walmart distribution center.
He was sectioned after saying he was hearing voices, and threatening to shoot up his National Guard base in Saco, Maine.
Card was armed with an AR 15-style rifle with laser optics when he burst into the bowling alley at 7:15pm to begin his rampage.
He was driving a 2013 white Subaru: Eric Samson, sheriff of Androscoggin County, announced at 11:20pm that law enforcement officers have found the vehicle in Lisbon, about seven miles southeast of Lewiston - but Card was not inside.
Mike Sauschuck, a law enforcement spokesperson in Lewiston, said Card 'is considered armed and dangerous.'

I posted a comment along something like this. The military had guns but they were getting killed. The police had guns but they were getting killed too. Too bad that the civilians didn’t have guns so that they could help save the military and the police.

They censor everyone, which is partly why Trump has to say something super polarizing or extreme that will trigger them in order to get them to report anything he said.

My wife is watching the news conference and says the first ten minutes has been politicians just saying I, I, I over and over while congratulating each other and CARING.
Where are arm citizens to defend themselves and put a stop to this. The police obviously can’t get there in time to save lives.
A relative who is working in that area is reporting that the suspect is in/near Monmouth and helicopters are in the area.
I doubt that anyone is going to spend time doing that given that they usually read only the headlines and a paragraph or two of the articles they see, and never click on the links, lol.

I will BET THE FARM that the shooter is DEAD:
A) He offed himself at the river near where his car was parked. His body is underwater for the time being.
or
B) He offed himself in the back of a property where a resident said he heard what sounded like a loud gun shot.
My common sense tells me he either had another vehicle staged nearby where he parked or a Jet Ski ready to escape on the river but I HAVE A STRONG FEELING HE IS DEAD since there is no activity since the shooting.
I’m not really familiar with Maine, only been there a couple times. However,, I do know it is constitutional Cari, and generally considered low crime. My running Siri on that is many people just thought due to the normal low crime nature, nothing like this would ever happen, Anne didn’t bring theirs with them to the bowling alley.
At this point, I’m leaning to him being dead as well. We know he ended up at a river and likely took a boat. A jet ski might make too much noise. We no a neighbor nearby. Heard what sound like a gunshot shortly after the shooting while he was on the run. It could’ve been unrelated, or it was him shooting himself. If he did cross the river, he’s gonna end up in the middle of vast wilderness fairly quickly. Sure, you could survive in it, but it won’t be fun, leading me to believe he is probably dead.
