“If we’d gotten the policies in place, if he had worked with conservatives to get bills passed in 2018, ’19,” Roy said of Trump. “We wouldn’t be in the mess we’re in right now, where Joe Biden is leaving Texas fully exposed to have people running over our Border Patrol agents and our [Department of Public Safety].”
Roy was also pressed a couple of times about Trump’s recent controversial remarks that immigrants were “poisoning the blood” of America, and he said Republicans ought to be approaching the issue with more compassion.

Either party will give you just enough to keep you begging for more. Neither party will ever give you enough to not “need” it once they get you trained like Pavlov’s dogs. The best news is they accidentally drop enough opportunities to make you rich if you ignore them and just hunt for the opportunities.

What was factually in error about what Chip Roy stated? In fact, the ‘compassion’ Roy talks about is eliminating the cartels from freely operating and abusing migrants IN our borders. The compassion for US citizens to shut down free (or try to slow it down) flowing fentanyl, human trafficking, and murder committed in this country. I agreed with pushing the building of the wall - it takes more than that. But, I am certain the wall was Trump’s best play as that is a good photo op. Stay in Mexico was great as well - but legislative action is necessary to prevent executive orders being implemented and taken away. Go ahead and enjoy the polls - wonder how that will look on election ballot harvesting month. Why not jump into the discussion/debate - obviously Trump won’t because the damage being exposed is greater than what he can gain in the polls. We are so thankful the polls are true and accurate. Nothing to worry about here - all you Colorado Trump supporters/voters - tell us how the election goes for you.

‘Afraid to debate’ is nothing more than a ‘talking point’ that the Never Trumpers are hoping might gain some traction since all of the attacks by the Never Trumpers have failed.
The Republican National Committee and their donors have wasted something like $750 million attacking Trump with candidates dressed up to look like MAGA.
