Elon Musk Picks Apart The Trump Civil Case Verdict With One Simple Question
X and Trending Politics News ^ | Elon Musk

Posted on 02/17/2024 2:57:41 PM PST by NoLibZone

X and SpaceX owner Elon Musk dismissed the verdict in Trump’s civil fraud case by simply asking who the supposed victim was if all of the loans granted to Trump were paid back with interest.

In a rather unsurprising move, the former was found liable in New York Attorney General Letitia James’ civil suit brought against Trump and his companies. Trump was ordered to “pay back” more than $350 million after the years-long case brought forward by an attorney general who campaigned on “getting Trump” came to a close.

Musk responded with a simple question in an X post. “Given that there were no victims with losses, who is supposed to receive the money?” asked Musk.

Reminds me of ancient Greece when a person on trial before a jury of up to 1000 people. If found Guilty a fine was assessed and the jurors divided it among themselves.
Needless to say, all rich men were found “Guilty!”

“”Kind of a catch-22. If he overpaid, he should file for a refund. That’d be fun to watch””

At one point in time, President Trump had some significant losses in a part of his global business. He owed a bank $900 million, but the bank was not worried. They know that he is a long term good investment.

President Trump was able to use the tax laws to right off huuuuge losses. He is not a fool. Just like Elon Musk, he uses the system. How many hundreds of thousands of people (millions?) have jobs, directly and indirectly) from all over the economic activity Trump and Musk have created.

We used to celebrate titans of industry. Most of us still do.

“Don’t think they won’t pull it here.”

No, they won’t pull it where I live.

How many New Yorkers had jobs because of DJT? How much in taxes have DJT’s businesses paid to New York, state and local?
This is a sham!

We know who gets 10%.

LOL, I was thinking the same thing, but due to inflation, it’s now 20%.

Money will be earmarked to go for special programs so that it doesn’t hit the general fund. It will be used as graft for some politicians. Also, when you create corps and states as people they can become victims. Undo the corp/state people issue and you solve this problem. The issue obfuscates actual human’s who have rights and created entities like corps and states that do not.

So he paid taxes on the estimated value of the property and loan? Who is the injured party? No one.>>> The state is an injured party. States are people too.

The 8th Amendment is sufficiently clear:

“Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.”

Also violates the takings clause in my humble opinion.

In 2009 Obama directed the EPA to send environmental fines to leftist environmental not for profits and activist groups. These groups turned around and gave this money to leftist politicians. From 2009 to 2016 it amounted to hundreds of millions of dollars.

If Trump pays this to the Attorney General of NY it wont go to the general fund of NY oh no it will be doled out to leftist POS political hacks and spent to further destroy NY.

Obama and Soros taught the left how to destroy the US

“Given that there were no victims with losses, who is supposed to receive the money?” asked Musk.

If YOU think Trump was railroaded to add coin to the coffers of the corrupt State of New York, think of all the people there who got loans from New York Banks. Their ALL on the hook. Every small business, every home owner, every Republican.

Last week, a Delaware judge took $56 billion in pay from Tesla away from Elon Musk. Of course the real reason for all the attacks on Musk is the former Twitter. Even the recent attacks on owning an EV are due to X.
