Ukraine Makes Deepest Strikes Inside Russia Yet, Hitting Factory and Oil Refinery 800 Miles From Front Line

Ukraine used Cessna-sized drones to attack deep inside the Russian Federation in the early hours of Tuesday morning, launching multiple strikes against a factory and oil refinery in the longest range hits of the war so far.

A drone factory and an oil refinery over 800 miles from the frontline of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine were the targets in an attack claimed by Kyiv’s military intelligence bureau in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Footage shared from the scene by Ukrainian state media shows a large drone — perhaps the size of a civilian single-engine pleasure aircraft — crashing into a building in a residential area and exploding.

— Breitbart London (@BreitbartLondon) January 19, 2024

The drone bears a strong superficial resemblance to the products of Ukrainian drone manufacturer AeroDrone who produced autonomous crop-dusters before the war but switched to military applications after Russia’s invasion. Their Enterprise model boasts a 3,100 km range (1,900 miles) and can carry a 300kg payload (660 lbs). The Ukrainian government signed a deal with the company to deliver drones to the Ministry of Defence this time last year.

Sorry, but you’ll never convince me that any entity that is a real military threat to Russia (and there aren’t many) will survive 24hrs from the moment they actualize that threat.

Historically it is Russia itself which is Russia’s single greatest military threat. That bunch of troglodytes stumbles from one disaster to another and then their native corruption degrades any transitory advantages they might yield when they fight their way back from the brink of their numerous self-inflicted injuries.

Waste of ammo, when Ukraine does not have ammo to waste.

its the equivalent of Japanese Kamikazes in 1945 - shocking, destructive, but a sign of desperation, and strategically insignificant.

Once again, they shoot themselves in the foot…as the US asked not to attack as it is pushing up oil prices, just in time for senile Joes election, and filling Vlads pocket with more $$$.

These pin prick attacks are in no way effecting the military outcome…but great for the Hopium crowd.

Why is Ukraine and the collective West so intent on suicide?

an attack claimed by Kyiv’s military intelligence bureau

Which has even less of a track record of telling the truth than the Biden regime or Deep State.

“Waste of ammo, when Ukraine does not have ammo to waste.”

How is it a waste of ammo to attack a factory that is used by the enemy for building weapons? The Allies did this all through WW2 bombing German and Japanese factories. How is it any less of a strategic imperative for Ukraine to destroy Russian factories that produce war materiel?

Last week, the United States told Ukraine to stop the attacks on Russian Terroritory. The United States remined them that the weapons they received are not permitted to be used in Russia, and only in Ukraine — it was further impressed upon the Ukrainian Government that continued support in the War depends on their being an Ally and not a Rouge Terrorist Actor on the World Stage.

Meanwhile Russia moves to checkmate Ukraine at the United Nations with a ploy to declare Ukraine a Terrorist State. It is well thought out and placed into action.

The front lines are changing at an accelerated pace. Ukraine has deployed the last 25,000 replacements into the front lines the past two weeks on foot. There is a lack of rail, motor transport, and fuel. Ukraine cited the new Russia Satellites in Orbit with advance Day-Night theater mapping making it impossible to move anything anywhere anymore.

The US asked pretty please to Ukraine to stop provoking Russia. This came one-full week into the daily missile attacks. Russia has nearly destroyed all electric and hydro generation in Ukraine. The only remaining Electric production are the three nuclear power plants near Kiev. They alone have yet to be attacked. There are no parts to rebuilt the production facilities. The distribuiton nodes was what Russia attacked prior to this new 12-day old missile offensive. The US was responding to Russia’s dismanteling of the energy infrastructre in Ukraine.

The EU lost fully 20% of their total NG storage in Ukraine last week. Ukraine is now a net importer of electricity. They were exporting electric prior to two weeks ago.

Why you ask? Because Russia can play the zero sum game with Ukraine and Europe. The US cannot supply everything the EUropeans need for daily life; we do get 4x what they paid to Russia for energy after destroying the NORDSTREAM I & II.

In addition to the Ukraine debacle, Biden has to contend with Yemen and Iran stating they will disrupt all oil in the Middle East.

Iran is one hypersonic missile barrage away from damaging an entire carrier group. There are two hovering around the M-East, and both could find themselves in the crosshairs of Hootie Missiles.

You Ukraine cheerleaders do not understand how Russia countered the Ukrainian attacks on Russian terroritory, by making it unsafe for American interests throughout the Middle East - The US seeks to minimize our own damages.

Just in time for Summer, the Hooties destroy the Saudi oil fields, and everything else they can hit driving the price of petro in the US up to $5 a gallon. Everyone knows Biden Administrations mishandling of foreign policy affects their wallets.

It is election year. The world needs oil. Biden is in a Bi(nd)-den and overnight Ukrainian attacks on Russia may result in other attacks around the globe.

—” strategically insignificant.”

Are you sure?

This event clearly shows great weakness in Russian air defense.

Will Russia remove AA from in and around Ukraine to cover the homefront?

So many targets, and not enough defensive systems to cover them. And the refineries are large easy targets, and they burn so well.

The Chinese will only pay firesale prices or less.
Such a deal.

“March 2024, Russia’s government announced a six-month ban on diesel and gasoline exports to help stabilize prices in the domestic market. “

An army marches on its stomach and rides on diesel power.

Yes, I'm quite sure

Ukraine has become Hamas, and all they will be able to muster is the occasional "shoot and scoot."

Meanwhile, resolve in Russia grows to go William Tecumseh Sherman on Ukraine on their march to Kiev.

It is.

The Ukraine attacks do minimal damage to soft targets which are easily repaired.

Putin has been using an unusual level of restraint in Ukraine for a Russian military operation. These attacks motivate the Russians to get more aggressive and less discriminating in their targeting

For everyone of these asymmetric attacks by Ukraine inside Russia itself - Russia retaliates in kind.

They are in the process of dismantling Ukraine power stations and other critical infrastructure and they are taking out NATO assets in Ukraine, up to and including killing Western military advisors and technicians who operate the complex NATO weapons systems

They are also using proxys to conduct their own asymmetric attacks around the world against US and NATO soft targets, of which there are many.

The days of the Putin Price Hike and other Biden Wag the Dog proxy war games are coming to an end.

There will be no Ukrainian tanks parading through Crimea and Red Square or any such media foolishness.

It's time to put a stop to the destruction in Ukraine while there is still an independent Ukraine to save.

“Avoid Strength, Attack Weakness: Striking Where the Enemy is Most Vulnerable” Sun Tzu

“Guerrilla warfare is basic, but lose no chance for mobile warfare under favorable conditions. ”

“The enemy advances, we retreat; the enemy camps, we harass; the enemy tires, we attack; the enemy retreats, we pursue.”

“A battle in which the enemy is routed is not basically decisive in a contest with a foe of great strength. A battle of annihilation, on the other hand, produces a great and immediate impact on any enemy. Injuring all of a man’s ten fingers is not as effective as chopping off one, and routing ten enemy divisions is not as effective as annihilating one of them.”

“During the eight years of War of Resistance Against Japan, the people’s army led by the Chinese Communist Party fought more than 125,000 engagements with the enemy and put out of action more than 1,700,000 Japanese and puppet troops. In the three years of the War of Liberation, we put eight million of the Kuomintang’s reactionary troops out of action and won the great victory of the people”
