NASA administrator has ‘no idea’ why China is going to far side of moon that is ‘always in dark’

NASA Administrator Bill Nelson is being mocked for suggesting the far side of the moon is always “dark” and can’t explain why China is interested in exploring that part of the moon.

“What do you think the Chinese are trying to get at, at the back side of the moon?” Rep. David Trone (D-MD) asked Nelson at a congressional hearing last week.

“They are going to have a lander on the far side of the moon, which is the side which is always in dark. Uh, we’re not planning to go there,” he said.

Thanks, that’s the first thing I thought of. Ackshully, a day lasts about two weeks on the Moon, followed by two weeks of night. Therefor, the Moon rotates once on its axis with each orbit around the Earth.

The other side of the moon is of course under sunlight during it's trajectory. It's evidence of God's celestial clockwork that one side of it always faces the Earth at all times when all the others we know of have no similar trait - rotating fast or slow, moving in or out without the same bizarre stability as ours which moves just enough to enable tidal action and seasons that promote and sustain life.

What are the chances without some genius guiding force designing that?
